They Go Up! - Golden sour, barrel aged with Montmorency cherries. From a small brewery near Ottawa. It's delicious
.

nice idea.Anyone in the San Diego and Orange County, CA areas, seems there are some beer festivals going on you can participate in from the comfort of your home:

https://www.eventbrite.com/e/san-diego-beer-festival-virtual-edition-tickets-101729258952
Looks like $32.50 for the ticket and 11.49 for the delivery of the beer (pickup is free)
A case of 10 special release beers and brewery swag will be delivered to your house the day before the event or you can pick it up at select locations. The case features beers from 10 different local and regional breweries. A video link will be sent to all guests and on Saturday, you can enjoy the guided tastings of each beer from their distinct brew master or ambassador in the convenience of your own living room. There will also be band performances and interactive games....
Might be worth checking if there are any similar going on in your areas!
Oh I've had it! But good call, we normally go there once-twice a month to grab lunch while out running errands, have kind of forgotten about it since casual errands and dining out are not currently a thing.Hop Craic a quadruple ipa from Moylans brewery @SFBayDuck you should pick some up if you like doubles or triples.

The Whitmer avatar throws me off, I’m adjusting to recognizing that it’s youLabatt Blue
They mass-produced it like crazy. Ever since ownership changed, it has slipped. The only barrel-aged stuff i buy anymore is directly from the brewery.Founders CBS is not what it used to be- not by a long shot
I used to be a big fan of Founders but the last few years have been bad. I’m just not interested in their stuff anymore. Like you said there’s the sale to Spain, overproduction and the racism issues. I’m out with them. They mass-produced it like crazy. Ever since ownership changed, it has slipped. The only barrel-aged stuff i buy anymore is directly from the brewery.
If I get anything its Rubaeus or Breakfast Stout. The rest is average.I used to be a big fan of Founders but the last few years have been bad. I’m just not interested in their stuff anymore. Like you said there’s the sale to Spain, overproduction and the racism issues. I’m out with them.
Now on to a Sam Adams Cold Snap White Ale. Pretty tasty. ButStarting with vodka w/ a blend of pink lemonade and cherry juice. Deeeelicious. Then will have a trio of brews for this evening's FFA poker game.
My notebook is out of date and just realized it has been awhile since a Sebowski sighting around here.... Anyway, I just ordered about $80 worth of beer from Ocelot with delivery straight to my home later this week (including some Nebulous and Sidewalk IPAs, and the new Mini Corazon release). Throwing a good tip on top of that. Happy to help keep giving Ocelot some business.I saw Ocelot post they were taking orders for deliveries in NoVA, but site now says no longer taking orders. So, I guess I missed the chance to get some Ocelot delivered.@Sebowski, think that will happen again?
I was not a fan at all. Antwerpen and foreign are two of my favorite beers so i thought i would like it.Foolproof Vanilla Espresso Porter
Guinness Milk Stout
Southern Tier Pumking
Peg Leg Imperial stout
.... and a gummy bear
NFL draft 2nd & 3rd round gonna be entertaining as ###k
agreed ... better than a straight Guinness ... but pretty thin for a milk stout.I was not a fan at all. Antwerpen and foreign are two of my favorite beers so i thought i would like it.
good but nothing groundbreaking. basic NEIPA.How is this? On sale this week here.
I have become a big fan of guiness mixed with pecan whiskey.agreed ... better than a straight Guinness ... but pretty thin for a milk stout.
Good enough for me at 5.99 a sixer will buy. Thanks.good but nothing groundbreaking. basic NEIPA.
I'm not a fan of the "boozy" Imperial stouts so I don't think that I'd be a fan of adding more octane to my stout...I have become a big fan of guiness mixed with pecan whiskey.
Only came up with it because regular guiness kind of blows, but I love the other three stouts in the 200 year anniversary pack. So i tried it one night.
Revel stoke pecan in a crappy dark beer is amazing. Tested with several others.
Draw the line at boatswain double stout from trader joes though. Worst beer ever. Wouldnt even try braising pork with that crap.
