What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (2 Viewers)

This is quite the night.I went to the bar after work and tried some Delirium on tap....and had a Victory Hop Devil Draft of my own....and then a pitcher of Labatt's Blue (I don't know if it was bad or if it was because of the other beers but I could hardly taste it). Now that I am home I just cracked open a case of Hoegaarden White Belgian Ale.Also at the bar I saw one of the best absolute brawls I've ever seen....I am talking just absolutely no control :boxing: Amazing

Damn, Rogue Dead Guy Ale is awesome.

HIGHLY recommended. One of my top 3 beers I think.
It is very good. Probably been a year since I last had one. Time to revisit that.Having SNCA. Finally found it and Anchor Christmas Ale (OSA).

After 3 Dogfish Head 90 minutes, I feel pretty damn good and am ready to fire up some eggs, hash browns and bacon.MmmmMmmm. Dogfish Head and then breakfast........

Last night was Victory Prima Pils with dinner, and a nice bottley of Smuttynose Big-A IPA afterwards... good times.

Good story: My wife went to UNC so some of her college friends are meeting there for a girls weekend to shop and see the UNC-Santa Clara game tomorrow night. So one of them lives in Atlanta and is coming here to spend the night before they drive to UNC together. So her friend gets here, brings her stuff in and then says "I have a surprise for you. Come to my car". I'm thinking maybe a ####### or something, but it's even better! She has two cases of Sweetwater Festive Ale she bought for me!!Awesome! :banned:

SN Celebration Ale. I had been trying new beers every weekend but this stuff was so good I just had to have it again.

Hennepin from Ommegang Brewery, Cooperstown, NY. I have to say it's my favorite beer that they make that I have tried.I poured it to wash down a tri-tip and cheddar sandwich on ciabatta bread for dinner.Poured it in my Chimay glass which I got from the Chimay "holiday pack" -- 3 beers and a glass for 13 bucks, look for it at stores near you this Xmas!

At an XMas party last night, I drank a 6 pack of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, and wanted another beer. All they had was bud light. After 2 swigs I set it down and walked away. Its been at least 6 months since I had any macro. I forgot how bad that stuff is.For tonight, Im getting ready to pop the top on an Oak Aged Yeti Stout by Great Divide. :banned:

Drowning my soon to be FF sorrows (down 12 with only Heap left, he's got T. Jones) with some Anchor Merry Christmas/Happy New Year. I'd heard mixed reviews, but I am REALLY liking this one. On a different note, those of you who store/cellar beer...just how exactly do you do it? I'm talking location, temp, etc...I think this Anchor would be a nice one to store away for a little while.

Thanks for reminding me... a beer would be good right about now. WIll report back which I grab from the fridge. Im hoping I have a big Rogue or two left and not have to go leftover Miller Liter or Heineken (:pukeinmouth: )

Bass Ale (first bar today's selection was very limited)Sierra Nevada Celebration AleSt. Arnold Christmas Ale

For your sake, I hope you have some Rogue. Preferably Choc Stout or Hazelnut Brown Nectar. But all are good options

Phew, had one Rogue left - need to get some more tomorrow. Sea Otter Amber Ale.

A portion of the sale goes to some aquarium foundation up in Oregon (or Ora-gone as they call it in these parts).

Check out the beer list at this new restaurant right by my house. My roommate bartends there!!

Yardhouse Beer List

Their menus vary a little by location--but if there is one by you it is sure worth checking out!!

Yardhouse

BTW--the last beer I enjoyed was a couple Abita Purple Haze this afternoon!! Yummy!!

Brasserie Des Rocs Grand Cru. :banned:
Ohhhhh, man... fine, fine choice. One of my all time favorites. Olde Saratoga Winter Ale here. 9% double IPA. Great "left cross to the schnozz" citrus hop aroma, well balanced flavor. Following that up with a Blue Point Winter Ale.

My Neighbor just got home frm Aruba today and brought me a 6-pack of Balashi, their local brew. It's brewed with the water from their de-salinization plant. Which is, at the least, a little cool. I cooled a few off and downed them. It's not bad and reminds you of a Budweiser with a little more body.
