What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (19 Viewers)

I have a bottle of Arrogant ******* Ale. I have never tried it. What is the opion here of this Ale?
Its a great leap into the world of aggressive craft beer. Hoppy, bitter, with a bit of roasted malts to push it near the edge. A very good beer.
Good description I like it  Nice after taste as well. Is there more alcohol in this then your typical beer?
Yes. Should be 7.2% ABV
i tried explaining the difference in Miller ABV as compared to say a 10% RIS, to my brother. he wasn't catching on until about 3/4ths of the way through drinking the bomber like it was a High Life when he told me thought he was drunk.
Can you splain it to me?
it's like an earthquake3.1 is 10 times stronger than 3.0not quite to that magnitude but same principle more or less.
So I shouldnt feel like a #### or lucky ******* that I feel this after 1 bottle?I am now wishing I bought two of them.
Feel good about the brew you just drank. :)
I do
Hell, feel good that you can buy Stone beers locally. :jealous:

Over the weekend I treated some good friends to these beers. We shared them all in the order listed, except for the Hatichino and the Eel River which we drank the night before. All are fantastic beers in their own unique way.

At a specialty beer store. There's bound to be one near you. Some of the beers, like the Schneider, will be available throughout the US. Others, like Double Simcoe, are regional. And then some, like Pisgah, are local only.

I'm still at the office working late and a coworker picked up pizza and one of those Heineken 5 liter mini-kegs for $20. IMO it tastes better than the bottled stuff and I prefer draft anyways. It seems to put out a fair amount of foam, though.

I'm trying some Acme California Pale Ale.

No, there is no sign of Wile E. Coyote.

For a Pale Ale, it tastes kinda creamy almost and really isn't hoppy enough.

Not bad, but not my favorite.

I just bought some 1554 Enlightened Black Ale.

It is made by New Belgium. Fat tire compnay?

Anyway I am likeing it quite a bit. :goodposting:
