Its seriously addicting as hell, isnt it?? Ive been going pedal to the metal for about 5 months now and HAVE to stop. I have no choice. But only for a month, then Ill be back in the saddle again. Seriously, I can pick out just about ANY beer on BA and arrange for a trade with little effort within about 24 hours. Its rediculous. Me, neither....My first trade ever was with Max I believe in January....once that 1st package arrived, I was hooked, and I couldnt wait for my next trade. I agree 100% on the Dreadnaught. It's in a league of its own.And it was worth the wait...
Having the legendary Dreadnaught and holy #### is it good. To put it into perspective, the Two Hearted was very good but they aren't in the same realm. This is better than Ruination good. This is better than Pliney the Younger good.
Its the best IPA I've ever had, and I don't even think its close. Wow. You don't get to drink a beer everyday that suddenly SHOOTS into your top ten. This one did.
Complexity out of an IPA is rare, but this beer doesn't seem to play by the same rules as everyone else. Layer upon layer of flavors...from the sip to the swallow you have ten good seconds of flavors mixing and melding....
I should have bought more

Is the Ballast Point cold? I'd be interested to hear what you think of their Big Eye IPA, it gets really good reviews on BA.

True. That is one thing that bugs my about the rating systems on BA and RB. Many beers are put in styles where the shouldn't be. A lot of times there is a serious grey area. IPA/PA is guilty of this a lot. Oh, and why does anybody on earth consider Troegs Nugget Nectar an Amber Ale. That's an IPA if I have ever tasted one (thanks 3c's).To be fair, it is a fruit beer.
