three PBRs last night.
What years were you at App State? Are you the guy who threw snowballs at my friends and I when we came up for the Davidson game that one time?Sebowski said:I transferred there after two years at App State, so it took me a bit to catch the bug. Plus, I like to stir the pot, so, I wore a thrift store Gator shirt to class every once on a while. Really pissed off the 2 dudes in my Spanish class one semester.Wingnut said:Lol not knocking Seminoles...its just there are college kids everywhere around the square. In hindsight it was probably a good move wearing my maroon Cigar City shirt instead of my almost Gator-blue Rapp shirt in Tally.Lol. Easy on us Seminoles! When I was there the only good place for craft beer was Leon Pub. Of course back then I mostly stuck to PBR though. At Proof in Tallahassee...did a quick flight of Grapefruit Guru IPA, In Session Pale Ale, Mango Wit, and Kissing Giants Gose.
All pretty good, the Gose is outstanding, as is the Grapefruit IPA. The Mango Wit was good, and the Pale Ale was my least favorite (not enough Citra).
Cool place though, in Railroad Square, but getting here was a nightmare with traffic. Damn Seminoles everywhere.

I'd love to hear a report on Leon Pub if you pass back through though.
How did you get the Spring House? I like that brewery a lot. If you can get Satan's Bake Sale, I definitely recommend it. Chocolate Mint Stout. And I usually hate beers like that. Big Gruesome too.Ilov80s said:Heady was great. I'm not sure it blows away all other DIPAs, but it's elite. Reminded me of Mars. The Big Gruesome is one of the best smelling beers I have ever had. Holy tag-a-long cookie!

Yes and I don't know about that. They are very different. KBS isn't as sweet, but I'm not sure there's a clear choice for the better beer.Bourbon county? If so it wins.BC vs KBS

Tried to find some Grapefruit Sculpin...no luck. Is FFF Yum-Yum worth it? Saw some Rev Fistmas...is that a good Christmas Ale? I really like Great Lakes, but haven't found another I like nearly as well.
I've only had a few Kuhnhenn beers but I really liked all of them I tried.Kuhnhenn Michigan Mud, pretty nice chocolate and vanilla forward stout.
