Yeah, I dropped $80 there the other day. Dissenter was good, really drinkable, but not on the level as some of the previous backstage series releases. CBS, Sweet Repute, Doom and Better Half were even Frangelic Mountain were all much better IMO. I wish they would do another batch of CBS, that was maybe the best beer I have ever had.
I used to work within walking distance of there too
Probably for the best though...I seem to drop $50-100 every trip
How's the HDR? Ive heard its top notch....I'll be in Charlotte next weekend and will be stopping at Noda to pick some uo to bring back to FL with me as well as a growler of Gose if they still have it when I get there.
Hop Drop is fantastic. While you are in the neighborhood you may as well hit up Salud bottle shop about a mile south on Davidson St, they may have some stuff you can't find in FL. They also have random beers on tap, it is where I stumbled across a keg of BCBCS back in June.
Holiday Market on Cherry Hill and Ford has Dissenter, Strawberry Shortcake 6ers and single bottles of Mars still.
