I have a BIL that lives in San Fran, trying to hook up a trade since he can't get any Chicago beers out there, most notably PW. Seeing if he can get some Alpine and Russian River for me. Having a source for fresh Pliny might be a good thing.

Thanks, I tried a few new Christmas Ale's last year and was very disappointed in comparison to GL.

I may have lucked into a way to get limited releases. Made friends with the owner of bottle shop around here, talked to him about grapefruit sculpin and any limited releases by PW, FFF, etc that he may get. Said he'd talk to his beer guy and have him call me. If this works out and I get the hookup, I'll make sure to grab some for you too.

PW Orange Truffle Abduction...didn't have high expectations but I like it. Not as well as Cherry or Raspberry but I would certainly buy it again. I might get a bottle and let age for a bit see how well it holds up.

Shorts new DIPA...impressed. It's described as a Belgian, but it's just a hop bomb, all galaxy hops. I'm not sure what's Belgian, but I like it. Weird name though: Pangalactic Gargleblaster.

Eta: I get the Belgian yeast now, good beer.
