What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (4 Viewers)

I have not seen it in the PNW before today...Shiner Bock

Drank a ton of it back in 2009 when I went to Dallas for the first time.

Annual cask weekend in Buffalo for 2 bars. Lovely annual event. Spent the afternoon at the bar drinking from the casks and watching football

Ballast Point Lemon Sculpin

Galaxy Sour Cherry Stout (Binghamton, NY brewery)

Stone Ruination with Agave and Lime

Community Beer Works Mole **** (their flagship Whale brown ale brewed with ancho chiles and cocoa nibs)

Resurgence Coffee Toffee Imperial Sponge Candy Stout

Tough to decide which was the best. CBW Mole **** probably. The Galaxy stout was the worst, but it was still definitely drinkable. The Sculpin and Ruination about even but totally different.

Sucks now. PW Sure Bet later.

Was a good day, picked up some Not your Father's Root Beer, Chasin' Freshies and a Blood Orange Sour.

Also had a few Jai Alais at a Chevelle show at the Orlando House of Blues earlier. Most of the performance venues around have good beer options, its awesome to not have to settle for the same old swill unless you want to. Which is OK sometimes. But the fact that there are better options is great.

You could have told me you had a few Chevelles at the Jai Alai show and I would have believed you. It just would have painted an image of a lot more bulky glasses*, for some reason.

eta* I meant eyewear. One could take that either way. I would love a beer named Chevelle, though. Sounds like a good, watered-down domestic, no?

Cycle Hammer IPA. One more Crank and I gotta go.

Its rough coming to St Pete to work, and hitting Cycle for a pint or 3 before I hit my first stop for work. Lol

Man...Crank is so good...I'm taking 2 growlers and 2 Crowlers home (one is being shipped to San Diego)...I always spend more than I planned when I come here for beer to go...good thing its cash only, or I'd leave with 10 filled vessels.

Are you finally getting your Alpine and Grapefruit Sculpin? You better be!

Nope. This growler is going to someone different. My other buddy has stiffed me. I'm sure I'll get some beer from him at some point but I've given up on him for now.

Page 4? Come on, you drunks! Get drinking!

I'm in VA right now working on the brewery. A couple beer geeks around here I've shared some San Diego beers with in the best crack a Bourbon County Vanilla and a Proprietors for me. The Prop was ####### fantastic. I need to try it a few more times to be sure, but I think it is one of my favorite beers of all time. I am a huge Coconut fan though. I also love Vanilla, but I was disappointed in the Bourbon County Vanilla. Kind of had a vanilla extract taste to me.

I'll be down there next week for the Packer game, will have to try to stop by this place and try the Crank.

Looks great sebowski - love that stainless in the background. Did you say what the expected brewing capacity is? Any barrel program to start? Anything funky?

15bbl brewhouse with 30bbl fermenters for double batching. Hoping to hit 1,500bbl first year. Max per year should be 3,500. Barrel program, absolutely. Spirit barrel strongs and wine barrel funkys.

Awesome. Will you maintain yeast or buy fresh to start?

- no more questions

Picked up a Pipeworks Mocha Abduction too. Also grabbed some anti hero and a local ipa called Crook County from 350 brewing. Hopped with centennial and citra.

Ocelot looks real nice. Great job so far.

Got plans to go to a Founders CBS tapping tomorrow. I'm excited as that was one of my favorites ever.
