Geary's Hampshire Special Ale is the brew of the night. I'm liking this one more than most of the stouts I've had lately. But Maine specializes in stouts it seems so that's what I've been drinking lately (had Sebago Lake Trout Stout this afternoon, too).
you ever get to that Cadillac Mountain Stout?
yeah, I have the empty bottle sitting in my room

I liked it ok. I'm thinking that I'm not a stout guy though. They have a bunch of bombers at the local market here though so I could send some out to you if you want to trade at some pt. I'm still working on developing my taste preferences.
I found that this market also had growlers from the Oak Pond Brewery, another Maine brewing pillar. It appeared to be an excellent deal @ $6 for a half gallon (considering Cadillac Mtn. Stout is $4/bomber) and some of the Oak Pond beers are actually well reviewed.
Are growlers somewhat common?
