What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (8 Viewers)

BA is back. Good thing too. I have a buttload of new beer that I didn't want to drink until I had a place to note it.

We're back up ... finally!

Man ... what a day. Today's site downage started at 3am and last until 10+pm EST. It wasn't caused by heavy site usage, but rather human error by our hosting provider on the west coast (I'll spare everyone the geeky details).

Sorry for any inconvenience ... but it was totally out of our hands. And things might be a bit on-and-off while things get back to normal ... just be patient.

Phew. It's great to be back!

***ATTENTION***

I'm proud to announce that i'm breaking Fuller's cherry.

No worries, i'll be gentle. I'll use plenty of protection and make sure to be careful.

Congrats on your first trade, Fuller.

I'm honored to be your #1.

For as anal as Todd can appear to be sometimes, he's a cool cat.

Going for the Siletz Wooly Bully. Now, no brewing in the world has let me down more than this one. I thought the cream stout was just not very good. Then I tasted the chocolate porter and it had the same wierd sourness. What are the chances that two beers I got were bad? Then the spruce ale which was horrible. Three bad beer out of three?

What are the odds?

This will be the deciding factor. I'm not even interested in how good this beer is. I just want to see if its sour. Is it possible that four out of four different beers from the same brewery all went bad before they got to me?

Sour again.

Avoid the Siletz brewery at all costs. Don't buy any of their beers, ever.

Furley is a good trader.  I think half the people in this thread can vouch for him.
 don't know if that's good or bad
Reading down? Hint: check the bolded part above. There is a big clue in that section.
i meant "bad" as "i don't know if trading as much beer as i have is good for ME and my pocketbook". i got hooked and haven't been able to stop for the last few months.

To reward myself for attempting to drink such a foul brew, I'm indulging in the legendary Rochefort 10.

I liked that beer, but I wasn't blown away by like many are. I should probably give it another try.

Good thing none of those made it into my earlier Liquid Solutions order.

Just to let you know, I picked up a Spruce Ale and Chocolate Porter from LS this past weekend, just to see if you were right. My wife asked, "So, you intentionally bought bad beer?"Might get to the Spruce Ale this weekend - awful hot for a porter though.

I'll be interested to hear what you have to say. I posted on the northwestern forums but nothing yet.

On to the Founders Black Rye. This is better than good - very chocolaty, with some coffee undertones. Not quite as strong or with the bite of a HOTD Adam, but similar. Really digging this one.
