Apparently, it'll reduce their server load. It'll definitely take some getting used to.Pro: It can find Troegs w/o needing the special character. Con: Searching for a user like Skylord (Westsidethreat) was easier with the BA search. I could type in west, change the dropdown to user and it would be found. Now it appears that I would have to type in the full name. West returns a ####load of results. Westside returns many. Westsidet nothing. Not sure if there's a "wildcard" character. Tried several with no luck.
Yeah, that'll definitely work. Point being though, what if I forget your BA name? If I type in thefatkid...nothing. thefatkid12...nothing. I have to know your exact name. I can pretty much always get this. there are two beer shops here in Orlando (Big C and Knightly Spirits) that carry this all the time.re: St Bernardus Abt 12 Special Edition (from Ratebeer's forum)

Seconded. Take care of yourself, bro.Hope everything turns out alright.Just a heads up for everyone, I may not be around the beer threads as much for a little while. I have been having problems with my throat for a while. Just went to the ENT specialist after finally getting a referral and I have some sort of growth on my vocal chord. It is most likely not a big deal, but I don't want to really take any chances until I have surgery in two weeks. I will still be around, but the reviews will probably slow down a bit.
But mark my words, I will be back with a vengeance.![]()

So much for having a local superstore now*** No Sale and New Location ***Those of you who have received our newsletter for some time know that we were trying to sell the business at one point. We had been working with an individual for some time to that end and although both parties worked hard to come to an agreement, it was just not to be. That left Sherri and I with the quandary of what to do next. This along with the fact that the lease at our current location had expired, made us think long and hard about our present business model, our growth pattern for the last 2.5 years, and where we want to be 5 years from now. All of this has lead us to the conclusion of shutting down our retail showroom, finding a commercial space and setting up shop there. What this means for our internet customers is that we will have more space, better effiencies, and shorter turn-around times. What this means for our local customers is that there will no longer be the "Wall of Beer" to stare at. All of your products will be displayed online (like they are now) and will be available for purchase online with an "In Store Pickup" option. The "In Store Pickup" orders will be pulled, charged and ready for pickup during will-call hours. This was not an easy decision for us to make but it is the right long term answer for Liquid Solutions. This transition will occur at the end of July / first of August. Please bear with us, as this transition will take some time. We will have to take the business down for a couple of days as we move and reconfigure our processes. Our new location will be in Oregon City and I will provide everyone with more details in a day or two as well as information on our moving sale.
though I guess it just means I'll have to take the 20 minute drive instead of the 5 minute drive. Oh and I will be hitting the moving sale about like Tip Top hit IN and IL on his trip.Side note for those interested in Blue Dot - LS is out, but per Matt (owner), HOTD is doing another bottling (scheduled for today) so there should be more soon.fool me once, shame on .... shame on you. fool me. you can't get fooled again. It just goes to show how smart myself is.This is good advice for yourself that yourself gave to....yourself.I liked that beer, but I wasn't blown away by like many are. I should probably give it another try.To reward myself for attempting to drink such a foul brew, I'm indulging in the legendary Rochefort 10.

If they have any really spectacular deals, would you be willing to share? Some information as I know a lot of you order from Liquid Solutions. Seems they are going from retail to commercial in the near future:

Poured from a growler into a Quagmire one liner's pint glass.
This was another beer from a trade with JeffKrenner. The smell was very strong upon opening the growler. On another note, why do they call it a growler? I always thought a growler was "to take a dump". Anyway, this was a very good beer nice strong flavor to it and very smooth aftertaste. There is a little kick to your taste buds in it. Very good brew.

Good to see you drinking good beers again. I get to just look at my nice selection in the basement. Went to pick up some trade beers, brought stuff downstairs, and almostNow a DFH 90 minute. Been TOO long since I knocked back a 90.![]()
. Gonna be a rough two weeks. At least you know that the stouts will cellar well. Hell, some are best after a couple years. What is it about stouts and warm weather that don't go well together?
I have a bunch of stouts at home either in the fridge or my closet that I haven't tried, but with the weather as hot has it's been lately, stouts just don't sound good. I might hang on to them for a few months before sampling.
