One of my all time favorite IPAs - dangerous on tap.Started off with two winter warmers 9sort of an English old ale kind of brew) at the Pump Station, now finishing a Cottonwood Endo IPA (decent, nothing stellar).
One of my least favs, I think it is too overrated... Many more enjoayable ones out there.. get on the IPA board!

Yeah, it has that look like they put more into the marketing than into the bottle.
I guess I haven't had any bad IPAs. I am sure there are bad ones out there, but I avoid them thanks to BA rankings. For all the high ranked IPAs I have had, it is middle of the road... does that make sense?

It seems that this beer has changed a bit over the years, or my tastes have changed. I enjoyed it quite a bit about 3 or so years ago, but it seems to have a strange aftertaste that is not to my liking. I haven't had one in a while, maybe I should revisit it. The Big Boss IPA is my favorite NC IPA (haven't had the Carolina IPA).

Aboslutely. I don't think I like the hops they use as much as some others, but I don't really know enough about hops to be sure.
Thinking? WTF, get outta there, life is too short!Gonna crack a Hopslam! #1* in my book!*(listed as a DIPA, but #1 over all beers, let alone IPAs)
