dreadnaught as I cram for a presentation I have to give at 9am. :wall:
Whoa, what side of the country are you on right now? 9am comes early over there at this point
sleep is overrated! I would have finished it up earlier, but went golfing instead. I'm about as done as I'm going to be but I have half a glass of beer to finish off.
You missed good TBS chat. Wingnut was on fire.

I'm drinking Miller Lite.

I don't know, do you guys still talk about beer in here or has this thread gotten weird like every thread in tyhis place.

Actually weve moved this thread to a different board thats exclusive to a bunch of the beer guys. And Furley is there for some reason.

Drinking from the Schlafly Sampler 12-pack, which contains 4 Pale Ale, 4 Hefeweizen, and 4 Summer Kolsch Ale (which is only brewed in the, you guessed it, summer). Loving the Pale Ale, the Hefeweizen is ok (don't care for the non-clean finish of wheat beers, though), and the Kolsch Ale has got a nice bite to it.

Fans of Schlafly beers:

The Schwarzbier came out Friday. It's a black lager that only comes out around this time of year and it can't be bottled. I have tried it myself and I found it be be damn good. Again, it can't be bottled, but if anyone wants a Growler (a half-gallon bottle), I'll be willing to listen to offers. Main thing I desire is the Dogfish Head 60-90-120 line, but I'm willing to listen to anything. I'm also able to get anything Schlafly currently offers, but just keep in mind that the stuff that Schlafly doesn't bottle (the stuff you can only get from the Tap Room or Bottleworks in St. Louis) will have to come in the Growler half-gallon bottle/jug form.

Phoenix> Interested in knowing what you can get from Schlafly.I'll hang up and listen.
Off the top of my head (not sure exactly what seasonals are still out, but I'll do my best to remember):Pale Ale Hefeweizen (the two most common available)Oatmeal StoutPilsnerDry Hopped APANo. 15 ("Our 15th Anniversary Ale! A medium-bodied amber-colored ale with a delightful wheaty flavor and a fruity, spicy finish. ABV:6%IBU: 15")Kolsch AleSchwarzbier**- Only available in a GrowlerI know there's a lot more that's available, but I'm just not thinking of them at the moment. I'll be back at the Tap Room tomorrow (it's a couple blocks down the street where I live in, life is good!) and I'll jot down the list of available beers they have.

Interested int these two. Let me know what else you find tomorrow, and we can go from there.
:hot: I can confirm that I've seen the No. 15 in 6-pack form, and I THINK I've seen the Dry Hopped APA in a 6-pack as well, although I haven't explored the liquer stores or other supermarkets in the area, just a couple that are nearby.

Gator,

I wasn't able to get to the Tap Room tonight as we went to a different bar that was closer to work. The next time I go, I will make sure to jot down the list.

I tried guys. I really tried. But I just can't get into IPA's.

Back to the Hefe's for me.
Which did you try?
I tried a bunch, including Dogfish Head and Sierra Nevada. The taste just isn't for me.One thing I will say for IPA's though, they got me F'd up! I drank a sixer of SN Bigfoot and I got knocked off my butt.
 I wouldn't doubt it. That's a barleywine, not an IPA. They're like 11% ABV each. A buddy of mine made the same mistake. You didn't drink them straight out of the bottle too, did ya?

The Octoberfests are beginning to come out which is one of my favorite times of the year. My three favorite 'fests of last year were:

Penn Brewing's Octoberfest

Sam Adams Octoberfest

Weyebacher's Autumnfest
