I'm listening to Massive Attack before they pull their catalog off of Spotify. The first three albums (Blue Lines, Protection, Mezzanine) are some of the greatest chill out records ever.
This sucks. I have lots of their songs intertwined with my chillout playlists.Listening to Foxing in light of the news today that the band is breaking up. They're a tough band to categorize; I guess they're spiritually Emo but more diverse musically especially the farther they went along as a band.
I've always liked bands that don't really sound like anyone else and Foxing was one of those. A powerhouse live act as well.

going into the wayback metal machine - "Take Hold of the Flame"
Like their big song Taxes and overall the album is good but not sure I get the mega reception they have gotten. Truly the "it" band of 2025 no doubt it. That big outdoor Brookyln performance. Not sure it's totally for me though. They are playing with Geese in Detroit in October. I might have to see them. Also I have to learn who Geese is. I know Goose but not Geese lol.Live version (I like the sax and trumpet at the end):

Yeah I do remember him mentioning that. They are the big new thing in the indie rock scene so that’s pretty cool.Like their big song Taxes and overall the album is good but not sure I get the mega reception they have gotten. El Floppo's son went to school with them, I think (I think like a Juilliard high school). We've sort of kicked their tires four at least two or three years now. Heh.
Kind of funny. Cameron Winter (of Geese) apparently covers Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark” in this XBox ad, and Geese fans are clamoring for the whole song to be released. I’ll admit I’d like to hear it!Yeah I do remember him mentioning that.
