If Arizona wins the NFC Championship these boards are going to be flooded with angry FBG's threatening to not watch the Super Bowl because it is going to be a blow out. I think with the remaining teams left the AFC holds a major advantage here. That AFC Championship game is going to be BEAUTIFUL football.

I couldn't complete the poll because of all the uncertainty associated with the Cardinals.

At the end of the season, I picked the Steelers to beat the Panthers in the superbowl (LOL).

Here's the issue with the Cardinals:

Previously their grossly inadequate defense and run game eliminated their all world passing game from serious contention.

One game (vs the Falcons) is an anomoly; two games (Falcons, Panthers) is a trend.

The Cardinals are the best offense left in the playoffs.

Although the Chargers got smoked yesterday, they continued to hang tough in the second half. If you assume Warner, Fitz, Breaston, Q? are a superior passing attack to Rivers, Jackson, Gates, which I do, they've got a shot.

Yes, I am assuming the Cardinals beat the Eagles (at home). I'm not writing off the Eagles, that's just my best guess at what will happen.

didnt see the TGiving game but the numbers for the Arizona WR's were pretty good and it looked like they had success against Phillys defense, even at the Linc. Westbrook took that game over for them which will be Zona's main focus. NY put Phillips on him and they bottled him up pretty well. This is a game Zona can win.

Picked the Eagles. I had the Steelers in my bracket, but I really thought the Eagles wouldn't survive the NFC. The Eagles blitz is just a mismatch for the Steelers OL. Philly should win easily.

As an Eagles fan, I'm actually a little bit more worried about the Cards then I am about Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh as a team is clearly superior to the Cards, but the Eagles match up well with Pittsburgh, and the Eagles D-line can/will harrass Ben into turnovers.

Philly will harrass Warner too, but Warner has better recievers and a ton of experiance beating the blitz.

In the end, I just think Arizona matches up better to Philly.

If Baltimore were to beat Pittsburgh (certainly possible, although I don't expect it), the dynamics change once again.

In the end, I think Philly stands tall and wins their first SB, but it's not an easy path.

Eagles D may match up well with the Steelers O but the Steelers D matches up well with any O. I really don't see the Steelers losing to any of these teams but Philly would certainly have the best shot (especially considering they've already beaten them). An all-PA superbowl would be a complete battle....no way either team would win easily.

The Eagles won the first meeting earlier this year by 2 scores. And the Eagles are playing much better now. They just blew out the Giants in New York last week for goodness sakes. I think the Eagles would blow out the Steelers.

With all due respect to the Eagles defense (and it is a very good one), the Steelers offensive line played the worst game of the season and maybe the worst game that any offensive line has every played. Despite that, the Eagles won by 9 point. 9 POINTS!!! They won by 9 points because their offense didn't do much either. The Steelers defense and offense have also improved a LOT since that game. I just can't see any team "blowing away" the Steelers with their defense. It will keep them in any game and win most games for them. Regarding the Giants, I'm not sold that the team is any good anymore. After the Plaxico fiasco, they pretty much fell apart. I think they won like 1 out of their last 5 or 6 games? The Eagles toughest test awaits them this week and the superbowl will be an all out war no matter who they play. You're entitled to your opinion though........even if it's wrong.........

This is the way I think most people see it ofr the next two rounds.

1. Pittsburgh- home field advantage is why I have them beating Baltimore. The Super Bowl is this week in the AFC Championship game period

2. Baltimore- Would not be a surprise if the won this game but gota give the edge to Pitt with Big Ben and home field. Look out for the Raven ST's

3. Philly- This was a tough call, even with the away game I give the edge to Philly cause they have been playing better for longer. A Super Bowl loss

4. Arizona- Would not be surprised if they won vs Philly, Warner knows how to win, but they have little chance in the Super Bowl.

Possibly. If it comes down to a rematch I'll look forward to a friendly wager where you are giving me the Steelers +9 points.

If we are going to truly analyze that game, let's be sure to mention that the Eagles lost their #1 weapon, Westbrook, early in that game. While Buckhalter had a TD catch, any team that loses their best offensive player early in a game sees the gameplan ruined and it becomes a scramble to win situation. The fact that they still won against a quality opponent like Pittburgh says even more about their dominance that day. Truly speculation on my part but if Westbrook played a full game, the Eagles would have walked away with a double digit win.

Thats a fair point but that game was a long time ago. The Steelers are a different team than what the Eagles saw in that game. Admittedly, so are the Eagles. I'm not saying the Steelers would win. Just saying that you would be kidding yourself if you think the Eagles could blow the Steelers out at this stage of the season. But Eagles fans have a right to be optimistic...........they're 2 wins away from their first superbowl ever.
