I suspect the amount he needs is what he's lost on bad bets and stock trades + what he wants to spend on bad bets and stock trades in the next month.I am running on the assumption that the full cost is equivalent to paying for Happy Hour drinks on a Friday night for me and three friends. How much is needed to sponsor a team? Seems like this is vital information that was left out.
I doubt that very highly. The kid is making almost $1300 a month. Why would he need more money?I suspect the amount he needs is what he's lost on bad bets and stock trades + what he wants to spend on bad bets and stock trades in the next month.I am running on the assumption that the full cost is equivalent to paying for Happy Hour drinks on a Friday night for me and three friends. How much is needed to sponsor a team? I don't even post in here anymore man. Sorry, I've asked for a Hard Delete. I suppose it would be wise to shut this down at some point and take my crowd somewhere else. In all honesty, I wouldn't mind having this thread and the Bandicoot Thread hard deleted. The thread title literally said "Thread Closed".New to his threads? Obviously he has none.Have you no shame?
$550 for a team seems reasonable. But usually that cost is covered by all of the players paying $X to join. And I'm guessing Em is going to charge people more to join his team and pocket all of the money so he place it all on the Washington Nationals getting 3 home runs in the fifth inning.Let's, for a minute, put aside the fact that you talk about how much money you've lost, then panhandle for $550....
What flag football league has a $550 fee? How big are your participation trophies? I guess if that covers referee fees, uniforms, and facility rental for the season. Is that $550 a one-time fee for the season?
Yeah, the number as a lump sum seemed high, but when you consider everything necessary for a good league, split up over 10 or 11 guys, it's reasonable. I was only in one flag football league one time. The inly money I was ever asked to contribute was a few bucks each game for the referees. That's another story, though.$550 for a team seems reasonable. But usually that cost is covered by all of the players paying $X to join. Uhm, no. Not where he's been (if any of it were true that is).How many threads have you hard deleted? 3? 4? 5? Seriously, what is the deal with that? It has to be a record. You are a young kid and make lots of mistakes. At least you are our there trying. One day you will learn from these and succeed. But for now, man up and laugh at your mistakes. We have all been there.
No, let's not.Let's, for a minute, put aside the fact that you talk about how much money you've lost, then panhandle for $550.
Not specifically. But we have all been young and dumb. Missing obvious ques from girls. Making financial mistakes. Falling for some get rich quick scheme. But Em brings an excessive arrogance to his stupidity which is pretty rare. He really thinks he has got the world figured out, and yet he could not be further from the truth. He kind of reminds me of the black knight.Uhm, no. Not where he's been (if any of it were true that is).How many threads have you hard deleted? 3? 4? 5? Seriously, what is the deal with that? That's his biggest problem. He'll never learn anything because he feels he doesn't need to listen. He has it all figured out. Most of us, at that age, would realize that the best way to get ahead is to listen to the advice of people who have been there, done that. He's already getting a little too old to not have realized that yet.Not specifically. But we have all been young and dumb. Missing obvious ques from girls. Making financial mistakes. This whole post is brilliant. From not understanding to how a message board works, to thinking he has a following, topped off with some "lawyer speak" that makes no sense....I don't even post in here anymore man. I guess it's good for business, but I'd rather drive content on a site where at least I could delete or lock my threads. These almost become intellectual property at a certain point. I'm not sure I'm willing to continue to fork it over to Footballguys though.
Just saying.

Of course it is. He is going to bet that against his team and the over. He is the quarterback and going to throw pick sixes all day. From the first flag football league page I found onlineYeah, the number as a lump sum seemed high, but when you consider everything necessary for a good league, split up over 10 or 11 guys, it's reasonable. But I do think this is all another one of Em's get rich quick schemes.
Intellectual property? There you go. You can record at least a couple hundred grand on your ledger for that. You can now gamble freely for the next 20 years at least. Koan:a paradox to be meditated upon that is used to train Zen Buddhist monks to abandon ultimate dependence on reason and to force them into gaining sudden intuitive enlightenment
