Wife does most of the laundry... so they get folded. Even when I do the wash, they get folded.

I don't remember if, before I was married, if I folded, but I think I did.

BTW... Boxer briefs FTW

Tommy John boxer briefs. Right leg folded over the pouch. Left leg folded over the right leg. Legs then folded up to be even with the waistband. Place neatly in drawer.

I re-do them if my wife folds the legs over the backside instead of the front, because a man has to have standards.

Kinda, not really?

We’ve gone to a team laundry approach. Any of the 5 over 15 does the wash, in theory anyone puts clothes in the dryer (usually me, wife or oldest) then into the basket. The basket gets dumped on the dining room table for the scavenger hunt. Each claims their laundry. Then we’re supposed to put it away (with varying degrees of success).
For my underwear, I fold in half put into a pile, that pile goes on one side of my underwear bundle after I push the underwear already in the drawer over to the other side. That usually means is no longer folded neatly.

🤷

Yes, folded, half then half. I do the laundry in our household, division of labor and all that jazz. Not only do I fold them (boxers), but when I put them in the drawer I put them under the ones that are already in the drawer, rotating the stock so as not to wear out half my inventory every week.

I fold mine into thirds and then once over, makes a perfect shape and stack neatly in my top drawer
Once in a while I will try and just lay them in completely flat with no folding and I never like the results.

@Keerock
-Have you done one asking if people just wipe with dry TP and then pull up and go about their day?
That's just down right nasty but that's the kind of people we're dealing with in here, I assure you.
These folks don't give it a quick shower and then unfold a pair of clean underwear and walk with a feeling of freshness
How many of these folks even put their underwear away in the drawer? If you won't fold it, I would imagine you just leave it on top of the dresser fresh out the dryer and pick off the top all week like my wife does. These are the types of people we're dealing with in here.

Well... we did just have one asking about using wet wipes. But have not specifically asked (yet) about dry-wipe-and-go.

When I sent laundry out, they folded my boxer briefs in thirds the long way, then in half. I figured they were professionals, so that's how I do it.

My brother still folds his t-shirts like a pro, from when he served 8 months at an Old Navy Correctional Facility.
Exactly! thirds and then folded in half, stacks of 6, 3 large going across in the top drawer and you got enough underwear for at least 4 days, right?
We probably have folks here that wear the same pair of underwear to bed that they put on in the morning, disgusting!

I have been married for 12 years and have been forbidden from folding laundry for some number higher than 12 years.
I am only allowed to fold laundry because my wife hates doing laundry, so I do most of it. My folding skills are definitely frowned upon.

I was forbidden to fold by my first wife. When we were first dating and went to a laundromat for the first time together, when I started to fold, she stopped me and said "Men can't fold!"

I used to, but now I roll them since it seems to use up less space. Still voted 'yes' since that's hardly wadding - if anything, it's even neater than folding.
I roll when I travel because I know it takes up less space but for some reason I fold at home even though the drawer is always jammed full between socks and underwear.

Boxer shorts. I pour them from the basket into a drawer. I have an area in the basement where I sometimes shower and get dressed. I also have some stuffed in an open cube down there. One cube has boxers, one has socks, one is stuffed with hoop shorts, one has ice packs, and one cube has a disco ball in it.

Another advantage to this is you can just reach in and blindly get a pair, and pretend it's a raffle or bingo.

Folded, Third then third at the waistband, then halved to make a square. My dresser drawer can hold exactly 12 pairs, four piles, three pairs high. I have 13 pair so when I finish laundry, have the 12 pairs that fit. Rotate the piles so that the newest washed move to the back and oldest in the drawer moves to the front.

Might have a problem. But also the moment laundry is done on Saturday morning, I'm at peace for the moment.

:loco:

Just lay them in the drawer not wadded into a ball..... Definitely don't fold like some weirdo........
This. I wasn't sure how to answer the pole though because It's not folding them so the answer should be "no" but I can't vote for wadding them in a ball.

This....this is normal.

We fold to save space and be more organized. We live in a NYC apartment, every cubic inch counts.

I rarely do my laundry so my wife finds them.

When I did/if I ever do my own laundry I don’t fold them but don’t ball them up either.
