White Sox 2011 Baseball (1 Viewer)

We need Ozzie ball now more than ever!
Ozzie ball = 4 Hr's a gameYou are right, they do need Ozzie ball.Oh, and one other thing. Does Hawk ever stop complaining about the umps?
No he does not but apparently there was a blown call. On the radio side they were ripping balls and strikes and a play at second base. I know that Stone and Farmer hardly ever rip the umps and they were last night.Also-Ozzie ball is just a crafty term for the small ball. It does not exist on this team and that is why they are going home.
They:doh:

You've referred to this team as "us" for god knows how long and I've mocked you for it over and over again. They're on the verge of collapsing and you show up in here after being gone for a month and call them 'they'?It's comical. BTW, where have you been? I'm guessing that you've been out there whoring yourself and your rooting interests to the various midwest baseball teams that have a shot this October.

No- what is comical is how you keep track of my postings in the baseball forum. Flattering but also- quite creepy."Us" ? Well now the great limp one is the grammar monitor. Keep reaching.Whoring myself? I don't have to guess who the whore in here is. I am prepared to go down with the ship. This is 3 years in a row now. Multiply that by 12 years and you will get the number of non championship Sox seasons that I have seen. What- maybe 3 years of that for you? Strap it on Limp one because the way OUR team is going it might just be a very long time until another championship rolls around:A team that cannot execute the little things- bunts, run downs, stealing, hit and run and throwing out runners. The best part about OUR team- there is no one that will be accountable. Now that is comical!

Hawk has been very critical of this team as of late. Between lead off walks and not knowing how to do a run-down, he's been very critical.

which he should, but its unlistenable (is that even a word?) when he harps on an on about it... with that being said, the sox O misses Q alot.who do the sox get next series?

White Sox get ClevelandMinnesota gets KC.The Sox must win tonight and get this back to 1.5.Floyd vs Slowey and as long as a team from the midwest wins, Power Windsock will be happy.

Ohhh I retain the idea that my life is very happy limp one. This is why I do not have to sit here and hope for the best with OUR team. I already knew the score in June. Softball teams die. The Sox have been going in reverse for quite some time. Once Javi lost it- it was HR or nothing for this team. Quite easy to forget about what a bunt and some stolen bases can do for an offense. You will see it tonight from the Twins. If not- once they pound KC.

No offense, but I'm rooting for the Sox tonight because I think they're a better matchup for the Rays. The Twins are annoying as hell and have that pesky, scrappy, not going away attitude that seems to find a way to wins in October. The Sox are the kind of team that should be playing with a beer keg at third base. All things considered, I'll take door #2.

I could, of course, be dead wrong on that, but just my opinion.

So, uh...go team :lmao:

Thanks buddy.

3rd base ump needs to take his Minneapolis #### back to Mexico......go back to school because your big acting job ain't impressing no one here!

Speaking of third.....who's this cocky SOB umpiring 3rd base tonight.

Crappy call and then has the balls to throws his arms up like that afterwards?

Ozzie should have been in his grill before he put his arms down.

I guess Cabrera needed to call Ozzie out too......get your butt out of the dugout and act like you care.....BTW, our BIG 3 sure haven't been big in this series......is 2005 really that long ago?

I'll be shocked if they don't get swept...I'm guessing there will be a makeup game versus Detroit on Monday, and if they can win that, a one game playoff in Minnesota or Chicago(is this determined by a coin-flip?)As for Javy, he has no place on a playoff team. Good guy, but he can't handle stress.
Agreed on the 1st part. Sox already won the coinflip, so they come to Chicago if it even goes that far.
:goodposting: Could see this one coming from a mile away. They overachieved this year to be sure, would have been nice to get into the playoffs, but the fact of the matter is THIS TEAM ISN'T VERY GOOD. When your 3-4-5 hit .180 something in the biggest game of the season, you have no chance.Hopefully they can clean this mess up next year, fix the bullpen, and move on from there. I still love the starting pitching, and they did a pretty good job all things considered this year.

You nailed the overachieving aspect. Add in a weak ### division and a launch pad at home and there you have the tease. This team is mediocre and if not for the success of Danks, Dye, Q, Missle and Floyd it would have been a .500 season at best. Hit on some good things but Kenny Williams cannot understand that speed merchants that can hit and steal while playing good defense need to be part of the equation. And I am more than confident that I would like to see PK gone and if AJ cannot throw out runners- time for an upgrade there as well.

Calm down.

You need to win 1 of 3, and you will.

now you need to win 1 of 2

Money in the bank
Nice call hereSo how much money do you have in this bank?

You need a bailout also?

In a Harry Carey voice

Hello everybody. Welcome to dumb call network. I'm your host and I'm completely hammered.

Let's see how bad we can be in making a call and how much money we can lose together...

Yeah, the Sox got homered in that series, but they still played like crap. On the other hand, the umps missed way too many calls, not cool at all...

Guy missed a call. It happens. It's the reaction that really pisses me off. This guy's out there flailing his arms around like "how dare you question me?"I've seen Little League umpires handle themselves better than this bush league piece of crap did last night.

Yep, i thought that was a little ridiculous. And somebody tell Hawk to stop. The constant #####ing about the Umpires has to stop. I only caught a snippet on the radio this morning, but what happened in the clubhouse last night after the game?

I'm sending a chiropractor to Chicago to fix Cliff Lee's neck so you have to face him tomorrow.

Sox fans: :blackdot:

Me: Bwaa-haa-haa-haa!!!!!
