Who will be the out of nowhere waiver guy week one? (1 Viewer)

Gonna go way out on a limb and say Riley Cooper is going to blow up vs. Atlanta (2 TDs or one long one) and people will be going nuts trying to get him off the waiver wire.

He will then go on to score two more TDs all season.

Jordan Reed
I was thinking him as well. The only way for Gruden to beat the Mia pass rush is going to be to get rid of the ball quick, so he could see a bunch of short yardage catches. Great in ppr. Then again, they might need him to block more...
How would Jordan reed be out of nowhere? Everyone knows this fool. Knows that he is talented. He's just made of glass. It wouldn't surprise anyone here one bit if he has a great game on Sunday.

He was the 20th tight end off the board on ESPN so it would probably surprise a few.

The title of this is "Out of nowhere guy". Pretty sure everyone that plays fantasy football somewhat competitively knows who jordan reed is and knows the talent he has. It shouldn't shock anyone if he has a good game its just he is taking so low because all of the unknown that comes with him and his injury past. Someone that could be a out of nowhere guy could be like ty Montgomery to be the leading receiver in the green bay game.

And even that is a stretch because he was drafted in all my leagues but who knows about others

It would shock me if he made it through week 1 healthy, let alone he puts up a big game. Dude seems to have hammies that are genetically predisposed to shredding.

I was surprised to see Andrew Hawkins on waivers in a bunch of my dynasty leagues. Browns have nothing at QB and he's never going to be a superstar, but with Cameron and Gordon out, there are lots and lots of targets to be had here.

I grabbed him off waivers in one of mine, I too was a little surprised.

If you're looking for Cleveland WR I hope your in a 16 team league or you must be in big trouble.
The league I picked him up in 12 team start 3WR 2flex RB/WR WR/TE so each week there's almost 50 WRs starting. When bye weeks hit and IRs start filling up you're scrounging for any kind of a floor.

excellent thread.

I will echo others and say Tavon Austin.

I watched all the preseason games and watched the new OC make a concerted effort to get the ball to Austin. Foles is an upgrade over the dreck that they had at QB last year.

This is nothing more than gut instinct--and frankly--I'm guessing this dude is probably owned in a fair share of leagues--but I think Vernon Davis could have a decent game week 1.
