I own just Young out of the Denver RBs. In fact, I traded McGahee/S. Moss for him and Driver when Henry was "supposed" to be suspended. Young has had a couple of solid starts, but now he's injured. I had no chance to get Hall when he was available because I had the last waiver priority. And no one can predict who is going to be the starter going forward - it's the original depth chart plus injuries plus any suspensions.

The bottom line is, if you have any of the Denver RBs this year, you'd better have a backup plan. That's why I picked up Fargas.

I agree with SSOG here for the most part. The only thing I disagree with is why Denver lost that game. I can't believe with all the experience Denver has had playing against Andre Hall, they still gave up 2 return tds to Hester, that is why they lost the game. I also think its funny how all the guys piling on SSOG will be the same ones asking him for Bronco updates on players.

The fact is none of us know at this point, but I have to laugh at the Henry and even more so the Young owners who want to downplay Hall's performance. He has shown as much as Young and Young has no better pedigree and a greater penchant for being injured. Incidentally, they have run behind the same line.
You realize Hall averaged 3.77 yards per carry, right? Seriously, what is it about a 26-for-98 day that makes people think he's going to get a bigger role going forward?
 the same people who feel that Q-tip Griffin was built like, and ran like, Barry Sanders...the same people who feel that Hall is another MJD type of back... :)

Hall looked decent yesterday, but Young blocks better out of the backfield and has done well when given the opportunity to start. He'll be back soon..

every time some 2nd or 3rd string Denver RB emerges , we have to go thru the comparisons, the weekly stat lines, the

'he could be the next <enter star RB name here>',` he could go for 2000 yards, he'll start next season, he's the greatest thing since the last greatest thing Denver had at RB..`

LOL

the fact of the matter is, if you banked on a Denver RB to win you a championship in 2006 or 2007, you were probably disappointed, what with all the injuries, benchings, Shananigans, etc..

the Denver RB position has been SO fluid the past few seasons, that its almost worthless to a fantasy football GM...and once you get involved, you'll forever be chasing the starter, #2, #3, #4 RB on that roster..

I'd rather look elsewhere for a starting RB.

Threads like this represent the wrost of a ff message board. Too many comments from people that didn't see the game, too many comments from people who's opinions are skewed by who they own, too much ignorance in general.

I appreciate some of the more subjective posts like SSOG and Packersfan.
I obviously meant "objective"

I don't blame the loss on Andre Hall, but as I see it, there were three primary reasons why Denver lost (in order of importance):#1) Hester. Duh.#2) Denver's defensive collapse at the end of the game.#3) Denver's inability to get any first downs late in the game.Yes, Hester and Denver's defense cost them the game... but if Denver makes a few first downs and runs another 2-3 minutes off the clock, we're not having this discussion right now... and Denver's failure to get first downs has to be laid at the feet of the playcalling (too predictable and not to Denver's strengths), the offensive line (not getting any push, although they hadn't been all day, either, and the playcaller should have known better), and Andre Hall (because he was the guy with the ball in his hands with the game on the line). Maybe not fair to Hall, but the guy with the ball in his hands gets all the credit when you win, so he has to get some of the blame when you lose. I still think he's a fine back, and I'm duly impressed by his ability to play the entire game on an injured ankle, I'm just laying that out there for everyone who is ready to anoint him after what was, in the end, a pretty average performance.
