Who's the one player you feel is going to "tease" owners (1 Viewer)

The guy teasing me right now is Andre Johnson. I know he is on a lot of people's list, but the guy is immensly talented and now has a decent QB. He should blow up this year, but you know sooner or later he will be going down with a hammy.

Another guy teasing me is Panther RB Jonathan Stewart who has yet to participate in 11 on 11 drills for the Cats due to his toe problems.

Who else does everyone feel is going to tease owners this year.

In order to be a tease they have to show you a little something to get you all worked up.In may be late in the season before Stewart shows you anything and then fails to produce. Stewart is not going to have a major impact this season.

We shall see. I would not be surprised if he's the starter after a month or so. Once he starts getting the rock, he has the potential to get Rookie of the Year IMO.

As an owner, I'll say Addai.

He'll probably have some big games, but will probably also get dinged up here and there and cede some key carries to one of Rhodes/Keith/Hart.

I'd probably go with Andre Johnson. I'd like to see what he can do if healthy all season.
I don't know why people keep saying this. We have seen what Andre Johnson can do in a healthy season. 2003: 66 receptions, 976 yards, 4 TDs (rookie)2004: 79 Receptions, 1142 yards, 6 TDs (year 2)2006: 103 receptions, 1147 yards, 5 TDs (year 4)We just havent seen what Andre Johnson can do in a healthy season catching passes from someone who doesnt suck.

Every WR behind TO on the Dallas depth chart--lots of talent, but who can step up and actually catch an easy 10-yard slant with room to run on 3rd and long in a playoff game versus the Giants at home in 2007?!?

Still bitter, obviously. Felt just like this...www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_9UTvESBIc

That was part of what my point was supposed to be. I didn't word it very clearly at all though. I have a boss that floats around and have to be quick on the draw. My problem is the 05 and 07 seasons. We just really don't know which guy we are going to get. If you drafted him in 04 and 06 then congrats. Yes, having a decent QB plays a huge part in that, but we really need to see him stay on the field to find out. The bottom line for me is that I won't ever have to worry about it. Where he is normally drafted is higher than where I am willing to take chance on him.

Calvin Johnson.

I wonder if the Lions lose a few games if they might not turn to the young QBs, and try and get a look at the future. Just a thought.

This guy and Lee Evans were the first two that came to my mind when I saw this thread...

Speaking from experience, I recommend composing any long posts in an Outlook Compose Email window, then a quick CTRL+C, ALT+TAB, CTRL+V, click and you're done! :lmao:

Javon Walker - WR who has many many issues

Andre Hall - the #2 in Denver, or maybe not, Shannanigans you can never tell but he'll be a hot WW none the less

Jake Delhomme- Reports are he's doing well in recovery with that elbow, but Tommy John surgery for a quarterback is still scary.

Now he's without Steve Smith for two weeks.

Vince Young- There seems to be alot of buyers with Heimerdinger back in the fold and the additions of Crumpler and Chris Johnson, but I don't know.

Ted Ginn- If the Dolphins wind up with a revolving door at QB, it can't really help his projections.

Nearly any Bengal- Are they really putting it together or continuing to slide. Hard to tell at times this offseason.

Ahman Green- Does he really have anything left at 30+?

Julius Jones- Will a change of scenery make a difference?

Derek Anderson- Can he come close to last years numbers with that brutal schedule?

ETA: Sorry. Forgot the question was "one" player.

Braylon Edwards - look at the Brownies first half of the season. They'll be LUCKY to make it out 3-5, that could open the door for an Anderson benching, and with Brady Quinn at the helm, Braylon will not put up top 10 numbers (at least not with Brady this year).

Santana Moss and Evans will put up some HUGE games, then everyone puts them in their lineup, only to get a dogshiieeet type of game the next week. :(

-All Jets

-All Bengals

-Ronnie Brown

-Jamal Lewis

-Willis McGahee

-Darren McFadden

-Kevin Smith

-Matt Forte

-Michael Turner

-Laurence Maroney

-Julius Jones

-Santana Moss

The biggest one right now in my mind is Donnie Brown. People are projecting 16 games of last year's output when 1) He's coming off major injury; 2) hasn't played a full year; 3) You're absolutely fooling yourself if you don't think Ricky's playing a big role.

I won't touch Gore period so I don't worry about that tease. O'Sullivan's awful. Which only goes to show how bad Smith must look right now in practice.

People are projecting Lynch for Top 5. I sure the hell don't see it with that offense. I think Edwards is the new Pennington.

LenDale White! At 3.7ypg and no breakaway threat, he needs 25+ carries to have a solid game... sooo, his success completely depends on the Titans D! You saw what happened when Haynesworth sat last year!?

Chester Taylor - Sorry, but as early as I'm seeing him go, I've got a bad feeling. Of course he'll be a stud if Peterson gets injured, and provides necessary insurance to ADP owners, that's not my point. I've just got a feeling that non-ADP owners will end up chasing his points all season long. Blows up on your bench, sucks it up in your lineup.
