See, this is why Belichick is the greatest coach of this generation. How many other football players would know to destroy all the incriminating evidence before it can reveal the extent of your wrongdoing?
Your best post ever.

Jeebus, I can't wait until Moobs retires and I can be a Patriots fan again. What a thug. Oh, and Hernandez too. Don't bend over for the soap.

"Listen, Aaron, I don't know much, but I know you're always better off if you destroy the videotapes."

Hernandez knocked up one sister and is now dating the other? That alone is worthy of a thread.

This could explain the Tebow signing. :tinfoilhat:
Look, as far fetched as this may seem, and given there would be transition issues with moving Tebow to TE, the skill-sets aren't completely different, and Tebow could bring some interesting angles. The Pats used Hernandez in a variety of places, including in the backfield. I think Tebow might not be as valueable in general, but he could probably be worked into some plays in the Red Zone that would be very interesting...assuming he's willing to take on a non-QB role.
:shuked:The skill-sets of a TE that lined up all over the place (except at QB) aren't completely different from a QB?

I know Tebow isn't exactly Montana in the pocket or anything, but I'd like to see some film of Him run-blocking and pass-catching... things that are kind of a big part of playing TE.
Playing TE isn't rocket science. They teach basketball players with no football experience to TE all the time these days.
Exactly. If guys like Gates and Graham can pick it up quickly, I see no reason why Tebow can't. He's got more football "smarts." Now if he fails because he's just not physical enough to block, that's one thing, but there's no reason why he can't learn the techniques quickly. It's not like they're going to be calling power runs over Tebow at the TE spot. It's really not much different than Hines Ward's transition. He was a QB in college and turned out to be one of the best [dirtiest depending on who you ask] blocking WR's ever.

Hernandez has posted on FBG before. (actually true)
Post still exist? :o
I've been sworn to secrecy. He has a handful of posts in the FFA, but nothing really remarkable.
This going to lead to another lawyer sending a letter to Joe about posts being taken down?
As a note, they didn't send the letter to Joe that time. They sent it to me.
My bad

He probably shouldn't have made that "Sometimes I like to shoot people just to see if I can get it away with it" post.

It's difficult to come up with any explanation other than he killed the guy.

It's interesting that he's not cooperating from the start when so many defendants are stupid enough to talk to the cops. So they have to build their case without the luxury of him tripping over his story on tape, and he'll have the best lawyers money can buy.

:goodposting:

If he killed the guy, or was part of the murder, his actions afterwards seem to have been pretty shrewd. I would not be surprised that the only thing they get him on is obstruction of justice - and even that may be interesting if the prosecution can't prove he destroyed the security system and his phone.

does any reporter have the balls to ask Ray Lewis what he would do if he were in Hernandez's situation?

I just read that Aaron Hernandez and two associates entered his residence wearing HOODED SWEATSHIRTS within minutes of neighbors hearing gunshots. Uh oh.

Slight sarcasm alert. I'm not sure what the hoodies have to do with anything, but they do bring to mind another case in the news.
