exactly. Also, is he really the 6th option? He may actually be the third at this point with no slot WR at the moment and no Sanders. An ADP of 131 is criminal in my mind for a guy who could finish top 10...The injury concern is real, but he is "only" 32. He currently sits atop the team depth chart:http://www.denverbroncos.com/team/depth-chart.html
Another intriguing point is that Daniels scored double digits (ppr) in 7 of the 15 games, and 3 of the last 4 LY with the Ravens.
There are a lot of ways to help the pass protection. For instance, they could just as easily go 12 personnel and still have Daniels as a receiving option. The signing of Mathis should help shore up the oline. My guess is Daniels is the third receiving option behind DT and Sanders, that may change by opponent and defensive scheme. It is very hard to ignore Daniels potential value in a Manning led offense. But his injury history to tough to ignore as well. At his current ADP I am buying. With the OL the way it is, they'll be starting Green to help the tackles more often than not.
when has the starting TE been the 6th option in any Manning offence?Injury prone and like the 6th option in that offense. Manning is done
the 1st-team OL has been fine in the preseason and it just added Evan Mathis. Daniels is the guy until he gets hurtWith the OL the way it is, they'll be starting Green to help the tackles more often than not.
After the top 6-8 TE's it's nothing but turds this year. He has a shot to put up solid numbers as anyone after the top 6 or so.you can't polish a turd.
TE caliber like a Dallas Clark and a recently emerged Julius Thomas or a journeymen Medicore TE like Daniels.Buffaloes said:when has the starting TE been the 6th option in any Manning offence?dansav said:Injury prone and like the 6th option in that offense. Manning is done

Based on Manning's history, and Kubiack's offensive approach I would put him tied for 3rd.TE caliber like a Dallas Clark and a recently emerged Julius Thomas or a journeymen Medicore TE like Daniels.when has the starting TE been the 6th option in any Manning offence?Injury prone and like the 6th option in that offense. My point was more offensive weapons
D Thomas
E sanders
Cj Anderson
Cody Lattimer
Owen Daniels
Ok so maybe 5th option on offense
Tied with C.J.? Granted Daniel's durability makes him a huge risk, which is why he is going so late in drafts. I think he is appropriately priced and worth a pick at his current ADP.
