My wife is pretty chill about anything like this, but I've always had a default conservatism where I just say I don't know, just to be safe. Pretty much my legitimate response to most things anyway, so it works out.

Went to my wife's 20yr reunion and mentioned one of her acquaintances was pretty. This reunion was in another city, and it was a person I will never see again for the rest of my life.

For about 2 weeks I never heard the end of it. Now it's over.

The marriage I mean, not the crazy.

Why the hell would you ever mention some chick was pretty off the cuff like that? If wife asks, fine. Unsolicited? You are the crazy one.

I'd never done it before. She mentioned a guy was good looking first, so I decided to step out on a limb.

Same, but wife has asked whether I'm attracted to other females. "Pretty" is an easier question to answer.

I'll be honest regardless but am lucky that I've always been able to say I'm still more attracted to my wife.
