***Wild Card Game Thread*** New York Jets at Indianapolis (1 Viewer)

Jets Inactives:

DE Vernon Gholston

RB Joe McKnight

CB Isaiah Trufant

OG Vlad Ducasse

DE Marcus Dixon

TE Jeff Cumberland

DT Jarron Gilbert

Kellen Clemens is the third quarterback.

Colts Inactives:

RT Ryan Diem

LB Clint Session

OL Jamey Richard

RB Javarris James

S Al Afalava

OG Jaimie Thomas

OT Joe Reitz

DT Antonio Johnson

Diem is the most important INACTIVE piece, no? Jets have very little straight forward pass rush, so that could help, though Likenbach isn't half bad. As for the Jets, they get Woody back, so that's a bit of a boost (though I expect the Jets to do a bit of what the Titans did last week and chip the heck out of the ends) although he won't go it alone.

After seeing the Seahawks totally upset the Saints, I say Jets win.
No way the Colts play as flat as the Saints doThat being said, I think this game is either teams to win. It'll be close; decided by a FG or last minute TD drive by either team.

Well that could be a good omen for the Jets I fear.

Stupid early challenge in a round 1 playoff game. Where have I seen that before?

Didn't take long for this game to get stupid. Holmes messing around with the punt, the Colts players trying to push him into the ball, and Caldwell challenging the play.

Jesus that was stupid by holmes.

Is it really that hard to find a punt returner. I know Leonhard is hurt, but give me a break. Just keep cotchery out there. I know he can't run them back, but at least he'll catch them and not do anything dumb.

when are team's going to cover Tamme? He just doesn't seem that fast or quick or smooth or anything that would make a player uncoverable. Just seems all about respect or lack of

Sanchez showing his inaccuracy yet again, Holmes even had to reach far up for that 1st down. Missed a big throw earlier as well.

Cromartie would wag his finger after an incomplete and then proceed to give up a big TD. Just play the game, dude. Go Jets :goodposting:

Again, just nothing...he's relied on the home run a lot.

The replay from above looked like Keller went backwards with his jump and was barely off the ground. ALOT of QBs throw it high near the GL and expect WRs (TEs too) to go up and grab it.

I understand what Michaels and Collinsworth were saying with the third high one in a row and it sailed over his head and all but using the DVR, I've gone back a few times and that jump is pathetic.

Total yards nearly equal (153 vs 154).

Difference is the one big strike to Garcon.

If the Jets keep playing good defense, all they need is Sanchez to be more accurate in the second half.

I was thinking that too...it was a high pass but that jump looked like me on the basketball court...awful
