**Wildcard MNF - Vikings at Rams** (+1.5, 47) 8:15 on ABC (2 Viewers)

Rams-Eagles is an interesting game, though playing on the East Coast at 3 pm on a short week is tough

What’s the line, Eagles -5.5?

Darnold has a great arm. Can make throws that very, very few others can. But he can't process very quickly, he has no pocket presence and makes some really terrible decisions far too often. KOC got everything out of him that anyone possibly can, I believe.

He's not the guy.
You have to agree that no QB could have success behind that OL, right?

I mean, right?
I agree that makes it more difficult. But he more than anyone should know that. It's fourth down. Season on the line. He stared at one guy who fell down and then was a deer in headlights and eats it. On fourth down. Season on the line. This isn't new. I've been saying this for many weeks.
Be that as is may, Darnold has been facing free-running defenders. Unblocked Rams barreling down.

Literally no QB would have success. Blaming Darnold for those sacks seems misdirected at best.
You can't take most of those sacks. Get rid of it, worst case.
Just throw it into the dirt like Stafford.

Looks like I made the right choice in not dropping $ on a ticket for this one.
Had tickets and when it was in LA was going. Couldn’t once it got moved. But when we were going wifey said she wasn’t looking forward to the 2hr drive home after as someone was going to be salty. Lol. At least here at home we can go to separate rooms.

I just saw a slow motion highlight where Matt Stafford, the nearly 40 year-old quarterback went on a design rollout. I don’t think they’ve done that with Sam all game. Every single drop back looks exactly the same.

I think KOC thinks he’s better than he actually is and I think he needs to find a play caller. I think he’s great at designing intricate downfield passing routes, but he does not have any other tools in his bag.

They gotta run the ball successfully a bit and get that heat off Darnold and set up some play action.

as a Titans fan I would be perfectly fine with adding Darnold as a bridge. He's been not very good for the past 2 weeks and that gives me pause but not sure if drafting Sanders or Ward is our answer for '25

in a weird way this proves just how great of a job KOC did as a coach this year.

His play calling is suspect, but as a leader and a developer of people he’s top-notch.

14 wins with a guy who can literally go disassociative on the field like this is quite a feat.

Now Darnold showing that his hand is hurt

Come on, either you’re too hurt to play or you don’t walk off the field giving a visual excuse for how bad you’re playing

He didn't read the Snotbubbles gameplan of how to attack the Rams defense earlier in this thread. If you drop back 40 times you allow their smaller D line to attack and get push. If you run the ball, you let your bigger guys push their line around. By the second half, those smaller guys don't want to take the hits and it becomes easy to move the ball.

Sounds like you would like this matchup for the Eagles

As soon as Stafford hits the top of his drop, the ball is out. When Darnold hits the top of his drop, he pats the ball 17 times. That can’t be just play design right?
