Williams to NFL: reinstate me or I won't testify (1 Viewer)

And the plot thickens...how long before the majority of fans realize Goodell has changed the way the game of football in the NFL is forever played?

Vilma's lack of accountability in this sordid mess is just as bad if not worse than Williams'.

"Jessup ordered the code red! We did nothing wrong!"

Kick them both out of the league. Forever.

What a sham. It's quite obvious Williams is lying in return for favors. (re: statement in September, Vilma)
It's difficult to understand Florio's reporting style for facts and...it's difficult. He COULD refuse to testify, that part is Florio winging it.

He's asking for the hearing to be in December rather than February since most hiring will happen right after the season.

That makes sense and ya gotta figure any coach would want the same.

From there it's a "what if" in the article by Florio.

My opinion-

He won't have trouble finding work and the NFL isn't a mafia where he's gonna get whacked for squeeling on Vilma.

Mangini didn't have trouble finding work after going against golden boy BB. He did much later because he wasn't a good manager, just good Xs Os guy, but that wasn't relevant to the Spygate stuff.

Fisher is head of competition committee(or was) and he's also forgiven Haynesworth, Pacman and others so I'm gonna guess he forgives Williams and the guy keeps his job. Working for Fish, that junk won't happen and everyone will assume that around the league and it'd be a big plus for Williams. Rams D improved this year (whole team IMO, if not statistically) and adding a quality DC would be a plus for 2013. Fisher generally sounds like a father at these pressers-kid was punished, time to move on. I expect that.

I agree Fisher may hire him if ownership lets him. But more from the standpoint that the Titans under Fisher were at best the chippiest team in the league, at worst the dirtiest team in the league. He immediately signed his ringleader Courtland Finnegan, plus Gregg Williams when he went to St. Louis. The mentality Williams showed in the video seems very in tune with what you see from Fisher coached teams on the field. So I can see him bringing him in because Williams - the old Williams - brings exactly what Fisher wants to see on the field.

He'll just leave the payments out this time.
