I am pretty sure this is a reach by say a half dozen to a dozen picks... however, at the end of the day, he isn't reaching me in round two and has top half of the first round value...

I looked a couple places and they said he was top ten, so I figured I'd go with the guy I was planning on following all year one way or the other over guys, some of whom I haven't really heard all that much about...

With age comes wisdom. If the draft runs into April and someone goes out like Tuffy Rhodes or Chris Shelton, this won't have a significant impact on the sim.What's the hurry? We have 8 months until the SIM starts.

I know who they are... just not a ton about them like I would the top stars in football or basketball... but I don't pay a ton of attention to modern baseball...I like stats and stuff, so WIS is awesome for me... but I've never played fantasy baseball and being a fan of a small market team that was gettiing purposefully murdered by the commissioner of baseball (who also owned them) for most of my life, it kinda got depressing and pointless...

I understand. FWIW, you should definitely pay close attention this year. I do... I tend to pay attention through about the end of May/early June to the Brewers (I can't help it!!)... and then if they're good (its happened like twice in my life), i start paying attention heavily again in mid-August...I understand.
