Thread has fallen from grace faster than any I've seen in recent memory....

Hmm, I think I predicted this turn of events.  I'm still hooked though.

For threads like this, I feel we need an ***Official Thread**** that just contains updates from the OP, and then a separate commentary tread for the peanut gallery.  Trying to find actually substance in this thread is a PITA.

Although I am hoping this works out, I think this thread will pick back up when the OP regrets ####ting where he eats by dating his neighbor and the relationship turns south.  It will then turn into "what do I do about her now" thread.

no beuno mr beuno if she read this thread she would likely be super impressed with old colonol jessup she woiuld see that he cares about her and for her and that he only wants what is best for her and does not want to rush this thing despite all of the jerkalope chumps in here telling him to basically maybe at first she would be mad but then when colonol got in his vw van and drove to find a former minor league ballplayer who never got his at bat but is now a ghost and then they find the darth vader voice guy who says like an army of steam rollers baseball shazam and then came back and said hey dad you want to have a catch everything would click and that would be the best day of all time as she leans in for another smoocharoni star wipe roll credits and were out take that to the bank bromigos

our only hope in this thread, since wooing appears to be over, is for us to negatively speculate aboot the "profession" of the wooee.  not sure even the wooer knows the answer.

i think he hinted that she is a secret spy for the fbi and dea whose special mission is to catch el chapo but what she does not realize is that she is actually el chapo in the flesh but they put out a total recall notice on her due to a brake malfunction which is why she has not been able to put the brakes on the hug fest and now it looks like it is heading to frenchville and a bunch of hickeys which could blow her cover so basically this thing is shaping up to be a jason borne bloodbath and will probably end up with car chase scene involving a small vehicle possibly the new ford fiesta but this fiesta does not come with chips and salsa take that to the bank brohan

I'd surmise that this has as good odds as any other possible thing I have had going in recent years. Probably better, IMO, but I'm not telling you to move on this game as if it has already been played. Also, there may need to be more defined terms of "ending well." 

Me not getting murdered? Fruitful relationship?  Marriage?  I mean, it's really all about perspective at this point. And hugs.

You have to marry her and stay married until your death, otherwise someone on here will call you out for your first moves.

I wouldn't do that though. As you long as you get yer thumb in her fartbox, it's time to light the victory cigar.

Yeah, but you have the added complication of getting both sets of kids wrapped into something where, if things go awry, they're neighbors and playmates.  I'm not saying this can't be navigated, but makes the downside a little more dicey than usual.

I think getting a picture posted is the real victory.  No need for the penny but others might have a different view on that one.

That's why I originally thought we were being asked to help with a FWB type of woo.  Absolutely crazy that he thinks getting married to this woman is anything but a horrible idea.
