The Colts don’t need WRs, they need a cornerback. Why in Gods name would they want to trade for a WR?
As bogus rumors with no credible sources go it's pretty weak even by that low standard for what you are saying. Absolutely not what they need and when they actually did need a WR it's not a move Ballard ever made.

Just an fyi re: cap hit with regards to trading AJ, there is no hit this year at all. $40 million dead cap hit next year.

Howie would restructure and trade. The reality is that the cap hit would be $40. Either way it’s probably too onerous unless the haul is just too good to pass up. I think at this point it’s clear that they are shopping him. We’ll see what happens in the next week or so. My gut is that Howie already has a deal in place.
The only thing crystal clear to me is that he is not suiting up this weekend.

Spotrac data tells me he is not getting traded. Eagles would take a $43 MM dead cap hit for 2026, which is $20 MM *more* than Brown's 2026 cap number. Teams are willing to take dead cap hits when less than the scheduled cap charge of a player (e.g. Russ Wilson in Denver). In that type of situation, there is a dead cap charge, but also cap relief when a player is cut. In this case, the Eagles would be looking at an additional $20 MM in cap obligation next year if they trade him. Unless he has become an unbearable cancer, that seems highly unlikely to happen.

Eagles have said they're not trading him this season. More likely traded in the offseason with a post-June 1 designation.

Curious to know, with Brown's hamstring history to date, have guys been steadfast and keeping him or moving on for someone in his tier like Odunze?
FBG has Brown well above Odunze tier in rest of schedule rankings. Brown at 26 overall and Odunze at 62. McMillan at 27, Harrison Jr at 28 and Egbuka at 31 are in his tier.

This. The ups and downs with AJ Brown are severe as can be. That said, his schedule is set up well for a back-half reemergence, if he can get his head right.

Brown is a better WR than Odunze (right now). Long term/dynasty I would pick Odunze. While AJB is up and down as mentioned the first few weeks really skewed things and then he was injured. Overall he has been solid and the narrative is a but worse than it really is. He just needs to be healthy. I'd rather him just sit if he isn't 100% as he has been out this long (yes with the bye week too).

But this Monday is gonna be a big day for him, I don't see the CB's being able to match up too well with both AJB and Devonta and I think the OC knows now what works in both the passing and running game to make this team go.

My hope Dynasty-wise is he gets traded this offseason to a more pass-friendly situation like the Patriots...right now he is in no man's land...no one is in a rush to trade for him and you would hate to trade him at a big discount if someone did want him and then all of a sudden he is on a new team and lighting it up the next few years...just not a lot of enjoyment owning him right now.
