You asked the fantasy gods big tasks like solving world hunger and world peace and for ASB to only miss one game? Heck, if you're gonna shoot for the moon on the first two why not shoot for the moon on the last one and ask for zero games?Woke up. Before I even got coffee or said good morning to wife or dogs I knelt down and prayed to the fantasy gods. My prayer involved solving world hunger and world peace. Also that Amon misses just one game. Amen.
He was keeping one of my redraft teams alive after some bad schedule luck but the zero and if he misses next week its probably sunk my chances for the playoffs. Highest scoring team in the league and a negative head-to-head record
Because I'm not greedy. World peace. World hunger. Amon 1 game seemed reasonable to me. Not me. I need him next week to keep my playoff hopes alive. Can we maybe give up on the world peace or world hunger thingy?Because I'm not greedy. World peace. World hunger. I'd settle on 2 games, back for week 15 and the start of the playoffs, and free/affordable healthcare.Because I'm not greedy. World peace. World hunger. Amon 1 game seemed reasonable to me. So I guess we can now get back to that world peace and world hunger stuffFirst kinda real news:
Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown is believed to have suffered a low ankle sprain Sunday, sources say, and while he continues to be evaluated, it’s good news so far on his chances for returning sooner than later.
Detroit plays just one game in the next 16 days: Dec. 4 against Dallas
Yep. First we have to give thanks for the part you and I played in this. The world may never realize how much of a factor we played in this. We both stepped up big.So I guess we can now get back to that world peace and world hunger stuff
So do you want to handle the world peace or the world hunger? I'll work on whatever one you don't want. Or have we done enough and let someone else step up for the other little things?Yep. Already handled. As a Jameson owner I prayed for more targets and less hunger. So I guess we can now get back to that world peace and world hunger stuffFirst kinda real news:

I’ll remind you he had a zero (0) last week.I wonder how he is going to adjust to being the #2 WR on the Lions going forward.

No, your delusions of grandeur are clouding your memory because that was Jamo’s 2nd 0 point week. The last one was preceded by a 2 point week. They weren’t so fun through half the season when he was being talked about as unstartable.18.8, 18,6, 16.6, 23.9, 19.7, 26.9No, your delusions of grandeur are clouding your memory because that was Jamo’s 2nd 0 point week. Numbers are fun
And the other six are 0.0, 0.0, 2.0, 6.0, 6.3, 6.6. If you look up "boom/bust" in the dictionary, it has Jameson's picture in the margin. Love him though, those numbers are nothing to shake a stick at*. Glad to have him but glad to not have to worry about starting him. Would love to see him break out into stardom one of these years.18.8, 18,6, 16.6, 23.9, 19.7, 26.9No, your delusions of grandeur are clouding your memory because that was Jamo’s 2nd 0 point week. People get a little loopy when they’re waiting on injury news.Uh guys, wrong thread?
I'm sorry, isn't this the DET WR#1 thread?Uh guys, wrong thread?
LOLBut cherry picking his good starts isn’t an honest approach at player evaluation. It’s ok that you have a mancrush. Just be honest about it.

*I thought this meant it's pretty good, but I guess it has more of a negative meaning. Let's go with "nothing to sneeze at".
Of course it is. It's literally exactly the same.not the same as what you were doing. Cmon.LOLBut cherry picking his good starts isn’t an honest approach at player evaluation. It’s ok that you have a mancrush. Just be honest about it.

I thought it was intentional and funny, in a good way.
Thursday games are always crappy offensively. The only difference for this Thursday game is that both teams last played on Thanksgiving so they have had normal rest and prep time as if it was a normal Sunday game. That should help with the crappy short week effect that most Thursday games have.Ugh. I may have to start him if he’s active. I fear the decoy.
The narrative that Thursday games are bad for offenses is false. Other than Raiders/Broncos in week 10, and maybe Bills/Texans in week 12. Thursday games have been pretty in line or actually above average in scoring this season.Thursday games are always crappy offensively. All that to say that I have no idea if you should play him if he is active or not. A typical short week Thursday I would say stay away. Not sure about this situation.
I guess I am just lucky then as 80% of the time I play a Thursday offensive player in my lineup they are below average and below projections. The narrative that Thursday games are bad for offenses is false. Yeah, that is exceptionally bad luck. There have been several fantasy bonanzas on Thursday games this season.I guess I am just lucky then as 80% of the time I play a Thursday offensive player in my lineup they are below average and below projections. The narrative that Thursday games are bad for offenses is false. And both the Broncos and Bills are top defenses, so that adds credibility here.Other than Raiders/Broncos in week 10, and maybe Bills/Texans in week 12
Yep - for a glaring example, all of my Thanksgiving players blew up. Absolute bonanza. There have been several fantasy bonanzas on Thursday games this season
Some of that may be that there were a lot of upper tier offenses playing on turkey day........although tomorrow is two top tier offenses too.Yep - for a glaring example, all of my Thanksgiving players blew up. Absolute bonanza. There have been several fantasy bonanzas on Thursday games this season
ARSB is also the type of dude who could have 12 targets with 10 receptions for 65 yards and a TD as a “decoy”.Not an owner in any league, but wld not start him if needing a win, if iffy. Cld be a decoy, cld make ankle worse by playing.
Its a big game for both teams.
But Lions wld be smart to sit ASB and not risk losing him for multiple weeks and missing playoffs.
I think he sits. But wld love for him to play as I'm starting Goff. I don't trust Jamo doing what he did last week.
Ton of screen passes for Gibbs coming Tmrw nite..
And Jamo will likely revert back to his invisible self EVEN IF ARSB sits. Has he ever put together two big weeks in a row? Probably back to 0 to 2 catches for < 25 yds.ARSB is also the type of dude who could have 12 targets with 10 receptions for 65 yards and a TD as a “decoy”.Not an owner in any league, but wld not start him if needing a win, if iffy.
