5/53/1 is a good game back. Knock the rust off. With teams game planning for Puka now too, Kupp should get less doubles. Hope he came out of this unscathed.
TY! I did not catch the game .. but that is a good sign! And with those targets ("air yards"), his use and efficiency numbers don't tell the whole story.Keep in mind he also drew two big PI calls that moved them into scoring position. Fairly smart veteran moves by him to draw them. All in all, I thought he looked decent.

Agreed, I believe he needed this game to knock the rust off, while Puka didn’tI don't think he is washed. I think the usage was fine. However, he appears nowhere near 100%.
As others have said, Puka LOOKED better. Kupp looked like he was struggling to get separation.
A few pages ago somebody posted some Twitter practice videos and I said he didn't look quick or sharp.
Exactly how he looked last night. He does not look like the Cooper Kupp of old.
That beind said, he was targeted in the red zone and when a big catch was needed.
You can't sit him if he plays unless you're stacked.
In the 11 games played together last year. This was their averages
Kupp: 5.27 for 66 yds, 5 TDs
Puca: 5.18 for 79.5 yds, 4 TDs
Two things I saw of note:Dr. Chao speculated earlier in the week that he wasn’t 100% based on practice footage and even thought he might miss the game. A 5/51/1 stat line was pretty good considering. On top of that, the Rams won and look like they’re going to keep him around. Staying with Stafford and the Rams is likely the best possible outcome for his fantasy numbers the rest of the season. If he didn’t have any setbacks with the ankle, it was a great night Kupp owners.
He also rolled his left ankle in the process. He came up wincing but no way for us to know if he reaggravated something until next week. Two things I saw of note:Dr. Chao speculated earlier in the week that he wasn’t 100% based on practice footage and even thought he might miss the game. 1. The catch where he drew the flag and was carried out of bounds was a dang good catch.
2. On the play where he was pushed out of bounds to stop the clock, he put up a pretty good fight for having a bad ankle.
He definitely did some nice things. Here was Chao saying he isn't quite himself yet.Two things I saw of note:Dr. Chao speculated earlier in the week that he wasn’t 100% based on practice footage and even thought he might miss the game. He's the poster child of when teams can't focus on him he's open when they can focus on him he's a bust.I can't get over how DRob becomes a must start when Kupp and Puka play and disappears when they are out. I mean I understand why, but the night and day difference is still amazing.
Needs to be a remake of Dumb and Dumber with Cooper Kupp and Jake Paul playing brothers.
Yeah I agree. The offense looks so much more dynamic with him AND Puka both out there along with Kyren.I don’t think he is going to be traded
That's his "O" face. Bonus points if you name the movie.Needs to be a remake of Dumb and Dumber with Cooper Kupp and Jake Paul playing brothers.
When they show Kupp on the sidelines without his helmet he looks stoned. Eyes look glazed,

I would watch the practice reports closely though. At his age, just coming back from multiple ankle injuries, I'm definitely worried about a reaggravation from that specific play.
Left. For what it's worth he was walking around doing interviews after the game and looked fine. Stood in the locker room and answered questions for a long time. Looked fine walking off the field. He also rolled his left ankle in the process. Yea, I remember noting it was his right ankle that rolled on that last play. Do we know which ankle forced him to miss time ?

I was joking.15, that's way to optimistic. Maybe 1 or 2 more tops15, one yard catches incoming...A 31-year-old coming off an injury has ten fantasy points at the half, and everyone is whining and complaining. Maybe you guys should temper your expectations a little. Sheesh
Yep, I have Kupp & could never understand how rankings up until this week had Kupp above Puka. He basically runs 3 yards routes and that's about it.Tough matchup last night for sure, but usage was terrible.
Puka is sooooo the #1 option in this offense. It's not even close.
Was disgusted, went up to go to bed, and then he got that garbage time TD late that I will gladly take.
Don't really see any matchups to be fearful of the rest of the way.

Other than game 2 when he got hurt before halftime, these are his PPR point totals per game:In the words of Aaron Rodgers: RELAX.
Kupp has been great all year. Who are you realistically sitting him for?
Or, maybe defenses are keying on Kupp.Tough matchup last night for sure, but usage was terrible.

Nacua 2nd. Kupp 3rd ROS in FBG going forward rankings. Isn’t that too high for Kupp? His fantasy playoff schedule looks rough. Which includes W15 short week.Yep, I have Kupp & could never understand how rankings up until this week had Kupp above Puka. I could try and acquire Lamb. Are they that far apart? Or risky with another loss and Dallas officially won’t be trying. Due respect, but you’re agreeing to disageee with math. lol
And I think you’re drawing this conclusion based on a two game sample size, when the reality is that over the last six or seven weeks they flip-flopped periodically depending on who they’re facing. Listen, I'm not saying he's hot garbage. I'm glad to have him on my team, but based on what I've seen from Stafford, Puka, and Kupp, I think Kupp will be 2nd fiddle to Puka.
But that's not all bad.
The eye test tells me that Puka is taking over the routes that Kupp used to run all the time. That is why I believe Puka has taken over the 1 spot. That is definitely not saying that Kupp is useless but that he isn't getting the same usage (route types) that he did in the past and that Puka has taken those. And I think you’re drawing this conclusion based on a two game sample size, when the reality is that over the last six or seven weeks they flip-flopped periodically depending on who they’re facing. Difficult to predict who’s going to be the A or B week to week, but they’re both productive.
It's possible. It's also possible that Puka is benefitting from Kupp drawing top coverage. It's also possible that the defensive scheme they face dictates usage to some degree. I haven't seen defenses roll coverage to double Puka. The eye test tells me that Puka is taking over the routes that Kupp used to run all the time. Both are still quality FF players but I think there has been a slight passing of the torch.
I am not basing on results. I am basing it on what I am seeing in games. Puka is running the routes that Kupp used to run. It could be coverages, etc. It just seems like Puka is in the old Kupp role as far as route types. Just what my eyeballs are telling me. Nothing more, nothing less.it sounds like post hoc analysis based on results, not cause.
