WR Cooper Kupp, SEA (5 Viewers)

it sounds like post hoc analysis based on results, not cause.
I am not basing on results. I am basing it on what I am seeing in games. Puka is running the routes that Kupp used to run. It could be coverages, etc. It just seems like Puka is in the old Kupp role as far as route types. Just what my eyeballs are telling me. Nothing more, nothing less.
Yup. This is what my eyes are telling me as well.
Unlike apparently you two have, I have not memorized Kupp’s route tree to confirm or deny that Puka is running the routes that Kupp used to.

Seems a smidge far-fetched, but I won’t cast doubt on y’all’s FF acumen.
;)

Here's to Kupp out targeting and out producing Puka this week by 2x.

I have no idea what their target share will be this week.

No one does.

That’s the point.

Tough matchup last night for sure, but usage was terrible.

Puka is sooooo the #1 option in this offense. It's not even close.

Was disgusted, went up to go to bed, and then he got that garbage time TD late that I will gladly take.

Don't really see any matchups to be fearful of the rest of the way.
Or, maybe defenses are keying on Kupp.
That's not what my eyes are seeing and I've watched every snap of the last two games.
You're seeing what the rest of us are seeing. It's what we can't see that may be why Puka appears to be the #1 option.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for a fight. But I disagree when you say Puka is soooooo the #1 option and it's not even close.

Targets over last 5 weeks
Kupp 8, 14, 7, 10, 11
Puka 9, 4, 14, 9, 13
I guess we can agree to disagree.

It's all good. I'm just ratcheting down my expectations a little for the ROS. Hope I'm completely wrong.
Kupp 50 targets
Puka 49 targets

Due respect, but you’re agreeing to disageee with math. lol
That includes one week where Puka came into the game injured. I'd look at the last 3 weeks. Not only is Puka crushing in targets, he has 100 more yards. Also Kupp was pulled to DRob near the endzone on one play at least.

FBG has Kupp at #3. If I'm a Kupp owner I'm offering to every ASB, Brown, Nico, and Jefferson owner and see if they agree with FBG.

Yeah, I don't know. I watch Puka in this offense and he is an absolute stud. I don't blame them for making him the first read. He's a rare breed.

Kupp will still get his, but I think it's Puka who could lead teams to the promised land during the playoffs.

Puka Nacua has out-targeted Cooper Kupp 50-37 in their four full games

Nacua also has a 525-311 air yards lead over Kupp in those contests. Nacua’s 41 percent first-read target share dwarfs Kupp’s 29 percent rate. Kupp is still seeing plenty of looks, but Nacua is the Rams’ No. 1 receiver.

Not Lamb?

Was thinking Lamb/Monty for Kupp/Dobbins
I personally wouldn't move Kupp for anyone not playing in meaningful games. Guess if depends if you think lamb wants to embarrass Dak even more.
I think Dallas will be 5-8 come W15 and the Rams 6-7 at best. Tough to figure out. Both likely not playing for much come fantasy playoffs.

Rams are fighting for the division. NFCW is wide open.

I don’t see Lamb quitting on the team if eliminated.

But Kupp is a safer bet for production due to QB alone. Plus they’ll still be fighting for the division.

Maybe take it to the Nacua thread?

No. I was just attempting so set expectations.

As I said, Puka is the #1 option.

Not sure Kupp is even rosterable anymore.
Would you still trust him in your playoffs?
It's crazy all these sites always rank him in top 10 every week. Like they don't even pay attention to any games, it's lazy.
Kupp is #11 WR on the week so far.
Can't complain about yesterday, but Puka is and will continue to be the #1 read.

Just have to hope that this offense keeps rolling because if it does Kupp should get his.

It sucks for the people who started him, but man he's gonna be fine going forward. Coming into this game Kupp was WR6 in PPG in PPR. His 4 weeks prior to this he scored: 28.6, 22.0, 4.7, and 20.2, which was WR5 over that stretch.

If you advanced despite this egg, you start him next week, if you are in a guillotine league, he's a premier target if his team loses.
