Bummer for those who already have him in their DEVY leagues. I'm sure they expected him to be playing in the NFL in 2024. Or at least they did this time last year. When he played in the bowl game I expected him back.
Personally a little disappointed just because of were most of my picks line up, know it's a deep WR class, but hate seeing viable options thinned out. I had him in a tier with Thomas and Coleman in non-SF as essentially players 5-7 as of right now.

Quiet week 1 in 52-6 blowout of Akron. Emeka had 4 catches for 51 yards. This play in particular was not ruled a catch.
Egbuka is currently my WR1 of 2025 WR class.

Analytically his career YPRR was much higher than both.
That said, this season will have a huge impact on everyone’s profile.
JSN liteHard guy to judge as he has played in the shadows of others. Anyone have a good feel for his prospects at the next level?
That is rather unexciting considering some pundits consider him WR1 in this upcoming class.JSN liteHard guy to judge as he has played in the shadows of others. Anyone have a good feel for his prospects at the next level?

Many had Emeka Egbuka as the WR1 of the 2024 class. Injuries hurt him in 2023 but a healthy Egbuka is one of the best receivers in the country.

Have always been excited by Emeka Egbuka’s dual-sided route running and RAC skill set. That long-strider range is what won on this long touchdown.
Glad he’s healthy and making plays again. Stellar player.

Great concentration because it was tipped.Looked smooth on that 40 yd td vs Oregon

Emeka Egbuka late round 1 in a power slot role. Think a young Juju Smith-Schuster, JSN, Rashee Rice.
He’s a first round pick #NFLDraft

Do you think he is explosive as Rice?
Ray G
Yes - and coming out wasn’t one of Rice’s concerns his explosiveness.
Zero concerns about it with Egbuka. Zero.
This seems like it's supposed to be a bad thing? Or is it good? Most of the routes have very low explosive %. But I have no clue what an average receiver's chart looks like because I've never seen this one before.Emeka Egbuka: Route % x Explosiveness Play %x.com

Emeka Egbuka is at the top of the “just draft good football players” list.
Showed vs. Notre Dame why the Robert Woods comp. is perfect for him. His best role is as a complementary WR2. A-level route runner, great hands, can play outside or in the slot and blocks his tail off in the box and on the perimeter.
Was terrific last night in multiple ways.
Could he be compared to Nacua?Jordan Reid

Not sure he fits their scheme. He’s sane.Steelers should take him first round

Seems like a potential solid WR2 in the NFL and should not be drafted in round 1.13.2 yards per play is a red flag for me. Look at all the past osu successful wrs. They all had over 16 yrds+. You better hope he is an outlier and is Michael Thomas but he really was in the perfect offense.

Emeka Egbuka feels like one of the safest picks in the entire 2025 Class and he’ll become an NFL team’s TRUE WR1.
Does that make him a "God like" WR2?If your team gets this guy as a WR2 then you’re getting a Godwin level WR2
