I wouldn't bench Terry for him. And sounds like Curtis Samuel is out, so that many more targets to both Terry and Jahan...I’m starting him! Over Aaron jones and mclaurin. Although I might regret this…

Hmmm - McLaurin has been getting targets and production lately. That one's tough. Somehow getting both in the lineup would be solid as well.I’m starting him! Over Aaron jones and mclaurin. Although I might regret this…
Whew!In a ten team PPR league someone had huge bye week issues and had to cut Godwin, I picked him up and am starting him over Pickens. Right move or no?
i definitely regret my decision lolHmmm - McLaurin has been getting targets and production lately. That one's tough. Somehow getting both in the lineup would be solid as well.I’m starting him! Over Aaron jones and mclaurin. Although I might regret this…
Inexcusable that an NFL WR doesn't have that awareness or urgency. Amari Cooper special. So bad. Had an hour and 5 feet to drag that 2nd foot

Classy GeorgeSo Pickens posted "Free Me" and deleted all Steelers content off his socials. Always like to see that after a win.
You think this is nuclear? You gotta admit he made the best two catches of the evening and wasn’t showcased at all, in fact , he’s been basically put on the back burner for d.j. I’m a big fan of Dj but let’s not act like he has excellent hands. This is far from nuclear imo and I also think Pickens should be upset. Big Ben would have audibled to this guy and peppered him with targets.Big difference between being frustrated and going nuclear. This modern age uses social media as a weapon and it back fires a lot. This is a bad look. Especially after a win. Ugly. Awkward silence in they first team meeting back.
Yeah, for one, Canada is clueless as far as scheming. Pickens is one of the best young WRs in the game. I know Ds are trying to take him away, but there’s still a lot of things you can do with a guy with his raw ability. You think this is nuclear? I mind the complete lack of effort last night more than anything else. It wasn't like it was 1 play either, it was the entire game. Pickett overthrew him on 1 crosser like halfway through the 1st quarter, and Pickens spent the rest of the game pouting. But this coming after that, is especially bad looking. Like he doesn't think he needs to do better, but its someone else's fault.Strictly as an FF owner, I don't mind the "Free Me" & wiping his socials.
Not at all.
Things tend to get shook out in the wash, but I’m not worried about a guy like DJ. He’s hardly a roadblock with a good OC. Not a Steelers fan, but I hear Canada is the talk of the town (& not in a good way).I mind the complete lack of effort last night more than anything else. It's one thing for Davante Adams last Monday, he's more than earned it, and they lost. George Pickens has accomplished next to nothing, and the Steelers won. Frankly. if I were Mike Tomlin, I would seriously consider benching the guy for Allen Robinson, at least for the start of next week.
Fantasy-wise, I'm super worried that he's light years behind Diontae in an offense that probably can't support 2 guys. I'm treating Diontae as a solid WR2, and Pickens as a borderline WR3/4.
To be fair they did pick Diontae with one of the picks they got from the poor Raiders for dealing them Antonio.Steelers WR evaluation since Antonio Brown:
"Wow, this guy looks great! Let's draft him!"
"Do you want to see the personality evaluation?"
"No, I'm sure it's fine."

All I know is I’m sending out low ball offers for Pickens.

Define "low ball" for yourself. Then think real hard about whether what you're sending out is actually fitting the definition.
Would like a full report back by Monday? SmhAll I know is I’m sending out low ball offers for Pickens.

The Steelers organization is phenomenal at finding WR talent but also seem to find head cases. To be fair they did pick Diontae with one of the picks they got from the poor Raiders for dealing them Antonio.Steelers WR evaluation since Antonio Brown:

It sounds like he's trying to say it doesn't bother him, but I'm pretty sure "a pebble in one's shoe" means something that is a constant bother.

They've largely been GREAT at dealing with head cases and knowing when it's time to jettison them. The Steelers organization is phenomenal at finding WR talent but also seem to find head cases. To be fair they did pick Diontae with one of the picks they got from the poor Raiders for dealing them Antonio.Steelers WR evaluation since Antonio Brown:

His consensus value is holding strong as a late 1st with something back, or an early 2nd with something added. I'm quite a bit lower than that though personally. I agree with Cowboy that he isn't a good route runner and rarely works himself open. It gets convoluted because Canada and the Steelers offense is not good either. But either way, is his situation changing anytime soon? If it does, will it be an actual improvement? He's certainly not winning any marketability points to make a great team who needs WR help think "lets grab this guy". I think I'd do a late 2nd, but also fully understand 95% of owners would probably auto decline that without a counter. Again, I never thought highly of him coming out of college though, whereas owners who did will have a higher base value on him. And they can easily blame a lot of his deficiencies on the offense itself, even if that's not the full story in reality.Hearing all kinds of bad on the guy, how much of an offer is fair for him? Was just offered him for an "early" first (with longshot odds to be a late first). But that seemed like an easy reject. Maybe an early second?
