Depends what expectations are, dickey moe. You gotta define the nebulous before anyone can answer, man.
I'm going to say Lamb.
Dak is too smart and is playing well enough that he'll force feed CD if he's not there. He's going to be in a great position to just make his reads and go to either if they are open.
I'd think D's will revert back to doubling/bracketing Lamb and that still will give Pickens plenty of opportunities.

I can't possibly imagine that the Cowboys are seeing things in Cincinnati play out and think "yeah, that's the situation we want paying our QB and 2 WRs top dollar".

Still with the dumb dumb penalties that hurt his team though. Caveat emptor.
I think Dan is very mistaken. They'll try and extend him but they have have the lowest projected cap space in the league right now for 2026, $46m under. They can move a lot of money around and free up space but I don't see how they can move $74M around and be able to field much of a team.

Huge mistake for the Steelers to let him go but I say that about every chance I get and people might be getting tired of me saying it. Felt strongly about it when they traded him and time and has only made me feel stronger in that stance. They just put themselves in a position of desperately trying to find another WR, and failing.
Good for Pickens and his fantasy value though so I win on the whole deal personally so I guess I should let it go but I hate seeing my team make supid decisions. He needed to be managed, but he was manageable.

Said it at the time, but it was wild that Pittsburgh basically paid a 2nd round pick and a huge contract to get worse at WR.

Lamb: 61 targets, 40 catches, 557 yards, 2 TDs
Sometimes Higgins outscores Chase, sometimes Jamo outscores Amon-Ra, sometimes Adams outscores Puka.

Lamb is really good. Pickens is a better WR.
Lamb is mr consistent but Pickens will win you more games.

This is the first “big” game and his first TD since Lamb returned from injury. Good sign.
It was against the putrid Raiders so there is that. Don't get me wrong, he was really good tonight but it was the Raiders.
They’ve been close to the same player since Lamb returned.

This is who we all thought George could be. I think the prevailing notion was that CeeDee was the better player and would continue to dominate targets, but this is a good example of football homeostasis. Things are starting to fall in their natural order. In other words, yes, I believe Pickens is a better player. Is CeeDee still a great player? Yeah, but there's not a lot he does better than George.
That said, we could see Ds put more focus on Pickens and CeeDee could start feasting. I'm not sure I'm ready to say who the better FF WR will be until we see how things play out, but George has more natural ability, IMO.

BTW, one thing that helped George get integrated was CeeDee's injury as weird as it is to say. Pickens would've eventually earned Dak's trust and developed chemistry, but the injury really sped up the timeline.
