WR Jerry Jeudy, CLE (1 Viewer)

Not sure what to do either. Short bench (6players) and so many bye weeks to cover this year. I might just let him go and be someone else's headache.
Made some mistakes this year but this was not one of them. Someone else carried him for 12 weeks just to get a zero in his playoff game.

His dynasty owners are already banking on those things happening this off-season so best of luck buying him low.

Maybe in your league but not in all of them.  People are impatient.  And this project is taking awhile.  If you're saying his stock is high right now, I disagree.  It's not rock bottom, but it's definitely not sky high.

Regardless, he's very much a buy candidate in most leagues.

Elway will sign a new QB next year, and I’d say one of those 2 are likely the Broncos starting QB

They took the keys from Elway awhile back, he's just a figurehead now.

Hopefully he takes Darnold.

LOL, I could see that if Elway still had a say, after a round at Cherry Creek and polishing off a case of Coors Light..."Get me Sam's number..."

Broncos will end up with Rodgers or Wilson.  If Paton and Peyton are unable to get that done, Carson Strong would be in the mix I guess.  The problem with that is they don't have the time for it and it's still a pipe dream for any project to pan out.

They are like a turnkey home at this point -- not unlike what Brady did in jumping ship to Tampa.  That's why I think it's one of those two big names, who desperately want another Super Bowl.  And getting it on another team seals their legacy.  Same thing Peyton did.

Manning's got the inside line on all of it, and you add in an impending ownership deal with the Broncos,?  They are a team in a really good position going into the off-season.  One last piece, with the guy that can go out and get it for them.

I saw him run a route late- thing of beauty. Stacked his defender and gave him a shimmy like Odell in his prime would do. Easy separation deep middle but Lock never got off his first read and chucked the ball way downfield I think OOB, wr never had a chance. Maybe there was a safety sitting back there in the middle but I don’t think so. Seemed a fitting cap to his shutout.

Broncos placed WR Jerry Jeudy on the reserve/COVID list.

With Tim Patrick and Jeudy both out for Sunday, the Broncos have no choice but to lean on Courtland Sutton, who previously averaged 9.1 targets and a 25.7% target share without Jeudy earlier this year. Denver also moved OLB Bradley Chubb to the COVID list as the organization remains ravaged on both sides of the ball due to the Omicron variant.

He is pretyy limited by Bridgewater.  Bridgewater is just a game manager

Yup...if you are gonna keep Jeudy it's really a gamble on the Broncos upgrading to a Rodgers or Wilson in the offseason...if that happens you could be in business...the thing that really gives me pause is he just doesn't look that good besides the QB issue...he's still only 22 but would like to see more flashes then he is currently giving.

Broncos activated Jerry Jeudy from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Broncos coach Vic Fangio said every player the team placed on the COVID list last week except for Calvin Anderson will be activated. That still leaves kicker Brandon McManus and punter Sam Martin. Even with Jeudy and Patrick back in the fold, Denver's offense is expected to continue struggling with Drew Lock under center.

Was really hoping that Rodgers would decide on Denver and possibly elevate Jeudy. They'll still get a better QB than Teddy or Lock, but not sure Jeudy will ever the guy we expected him to be.

They will probably draft Kenny Pickett, or one of the other hyped QBs.

That’s a pretty good consolation prize! Wilson can utilize more than one WR whereas Rodgers has shown a tendency to lock onto one guy over others over the years. So maybe not the target hog that Rodgers might have made him, but definitely some Lockett or Metcalf type floors most likely numbers and still room for guys like Sutton and Patrick to still eat too.

The charge against #Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy -- 2nd-degree criminal tampering -- in Colorado means tampering with another person's property "with intent to cause injury, inconvenience, or annoyance."

The domestic-violence enhancer is based on Jeudy's relationship with the accuser.

So basically he damaged someone's property he was mad at (criminal tampering). It gets the "domestic violence enhancer" because the person is either family or someone he lives with (girlfriend/housemate).

Can't imagine he'll face any sort of punishment for this:

https://www.tmz.com/2022/05/12/broncos-star-jerry-jeudy-arrested-in-colorado/

3:45 PM PT -- The Arapahoe County Sheriff, Tyler Brown, just met with media members about the Jeudy arrest ... and emphasized the football player had "no physical contact" with the alleged female victim in the case.

Brown added there was no damage done to the alleged victim's property either.

Instead, Brown said officers arrested Jeudy after he allegedly withheld property from the woman who officers claim was trying to leave the area. Brown added the woman has a 1-month-old child with Jeudy.

Brown said the incident went down at around 10:15 AM. He added Jeudy will spend the night in jail, before appearing in court at 8:30 AM on Friday.
Kind of wild that you can get arrested for that. Not really defending him (no idea the context) but that's so minor to spend a night in jail for.

Very minor but it's also stealing. If he had her cell phone, car keys or wallet while refusing to return it....that is stealing.
Ehhhh.  Not if he didn’t intend to keep it forever.  From ESPN “According to the document, Jeudy admitted to locking some things in his car, including baby formula, because the woman took one of his three cellphones and would not give it back.”

Baby mama wanted to take their one month old and go to Virginia.  I’d probably reach the same.  This will get dismissed and will be forgotten by August.

Yeah obviously I don't know the specific circumstances- more taking a guess at what might have happened.

What is his trade value looking like right now?   I figure all this legal stuff is a nothing, so for the moment let's just say that it is.  Can he be had for a 3rd rounder?

If you are talking FF maybe?

IRL,  just looking at the language law enforcement is using here, Denver will be standing by him and I think a big season is in store

I don't even consider myself a Jeudy fan, but I shudder to think what criminal charges he would have to be facing for me to accept a 3rd.

I'm thinking Dotson level, late 1st or early 2nd.
