Jerry Jeudy caught 3-of-8 targets for 53 yards in the Broncos' Week 5 loss to the Colts.
Jeudy saw good target volume in this one, as his eight targets on the evening set a new season high for him. Unfortunately, those targets only carry value if they turn into completions, which most did not on Thursday. Whether it was a deep play down the sideline or an overthrown while Jeudy was in a near standstill, Russell Wilson found ways to miss Jeudy and his fellow receivers all evening. Jeudy's longest play on the evening came in overtime when he broke free for a 37-yard reception down the right sideline, nearly ending the game for the Broncos. Through five games, Jeudy is averaging 5.8 targets per game and is the clear No. 2 option in the passing game. Offensive struggles will limit Jeudy in Week 6 against the Chargers. He should be viewed as more of a high-end WR3.
