WR Jerry Jeudy, CLE (4 Viewers)

Not sure what to do either. Short bench (6players) and so many bye weeks to cover this year. I might just let him go and be someone else's headache.

That's where I am, especially considering that I just found out Mostert will also be out for 8 weeks. Can't have both of those guys clogging my roster for half the season. (And our bench is only 5, with no IR.)

Even if he does get back 100% healthy by around mid-season or so, my biggest concern is that he's losing valuable time to gel with Teddy relative to the other WRs.

4-6 weeks. Ugh. I wish it was 6-8 because that's cut and dry drop. 4-6 feels like I should keep him a bit.

I doubt if he will be the same *when* he returns. It may take awhile to completely recover.
Yes I know. I was expecting 6-8 weeks and then probably 10-12 before he's good. So just drop him. But 4-6 and maybe 8-10 weeks he's back, maybe he's good for late season run.

Hard to believe that his leg wasn't broken ...It was a pretty gruesome injury when it happen looked like his lower leg snapped at a 90 degree angle. Not a doctor but if I was a betting man I'd say the over under is 7 weeks and Im taking the over ...4 weeks is out of the question ... just aint happening

Broncos placed WR Jerry Jeudy (high-ankle sprain) on injured reserve.

The Broncos still don't have a hard timetable for Jeudy's return, though this move will keep him sidelined, at minimum, for the next three weeks. Whether he's at full speed upon returning from a high-ankle sprain is also a lingering question mark. Jeudy ran 18 of his 23 routes from the slot prior to injury in Week 1, which logically fits K.J. Hamler, who led the Broncos in slot routes last year, as his one-for-one replacement on waiver wires. Tim Patrick is also a tremendous pickup in the interim.

The Broncos saw your repeated posts here and decided to indulge you by putting him on IR
repeated because no one responded.  I was thinking maybe he was out only a few weeks and wouldn't go on IR.  Having said that, I thought the second part of your response was funny.

Rotoworld NBC Sports Edge seems to be working real hard to make Hamler a thing. I just feel like Patrick is a more proven commodity. Maybe his ceiling is lower, because Hamler has the potential to make a second-year leap, but I think I'd rather have the certainty.

Probably won't waste a waiver claim on him because as a general rule WRs aren't worth it, but assuming both clear that's where I'm leaning.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport believes Jerry Jeudy (high-ankle sprain) will be out "closer to six" weeks.

Rapoport noted that the timetable was set at 4-6 weeks but he expects the young receiver to be out for the entirety of that time. It's not a guarantee that Jeudy will be out for over a month but fantasy managers can plan on being without him for the foreseeable future. In his absence, Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant should soak up plenty of targets in Denver. Meanwhile, K.J. Hamler and Tim Patrick will compete for the WR2 gig. Patrick, who was credited with a start in Week 1 and saw 46 snaps, likely has an edge over Hamler, who only took the field for 24 plays. Both players are interesting stashes but neither can be relied upon for meaningful fantasy production yet.

Given how the injury looked on TV, I'm fully expecting at least 6 weeks.  I really hope they don't rush him back too soon - wait until he is at least 90%.

Broncos coach Vic Fangio said the chances of Jerry Jeudy (ankle) playing in Week 7 against the Browns "are less than 50 percent."

Jeudy was designed to return from injured reserve a day before the Broncos' Week 6 game, but that still gives him 21 days to be officially activated. The most recent report on him was that a Week 8 return was the team's target. Denver gets a short turnaround this week as they'll square off with Cleveland on Thursday, all but ensuring that he'll remain sidelined. Courtland Sutton has seen double-digit targets in three of his previous five games and projects for a monstrous role versus the Browns this week. He's a must-start WR2 until Jeudy returns.

I mean, they’re 3-4.
But are not good.  Injuries have hurt an ok team and made them a bad team.
Agree - they have not looked good, but at worst they will be one game out of the division lead after this weekend.

As for not rushing Jeudy, I doubt he would be coming back if he wasn’t ready. Besides, Fangio is undoubtedly fighting for his job and will want to have his best players out there if they can go.

Denver may be one game out of the division but they are not close to beating the Chargers and Chiefs.  In their current state, they won’t beat LV either.

Jeudy certainly appears and plays the role of future stardom in the NFL, yet... with an offense sputtering and C Sutton looking good, Tim Patrick is no slouch, Fant, and the two RB's heavily involved then how much is left? I can't imagine seeing Jeudy ranked higher then 10-12 fantasy points a game and not exactly a high ceiling? Idk - he certainly can be studly, but when? I picked him up to place on my IR and now not sure if he makes the grade to keep him on my team.

Where do you rank him on this team of WR's:

Tyreek Hill

Mike Williams

Chase Claypool

Jaylen Waddle

Jerry Jeudy

My other bench players are too good.

I think for the moment you have him ranked correctly in that list.  Could maybe make the argument for him over Waddle but I wouldn't today.  I grabbed him in one league where I'm maybe the only guy not pummeled with the Week 7 byes, and there Sutton is my WR3, so I'm really hoping over the next couple weeks there becomes a clear picture of where he fits in the Denver WR pecking order because I don't want to carry both all year and constantly have to choose which to flex every week.

All Sutton owners are certainly paying attention. DEN will have 3 top notch WR's. My initial thought is Sutton and Jeudy will both do well and Patrick could score at any moment as well. Sutton was a beast before his injury and looks like he's nearly all the back plus some. Sutton averaging like 5-6 catches a game consistently. He's good. I like what I am seeing out of Sutton. How it affects him moving forward we can only watch and see. Jeudy, Jeudy, Jeudy what to do with him. Obviously a hold would be nice but may not have that luxury as my kicker spot is empty and I would like to hold DAL D. Deep breaths. Silly to hold a D? Perhaps not silly to hold a solid D like BUF or DAL this week.

I snagged him when he was dropped (we don't have IR spots) thinking I could survive and needed the upside of flexing a guy I had ranked pretty high. I'm still holding out hope for him and don't really "need" him but with Ridley/Woods/Tee as my main 3, I could really use a jolt there and be able to play matchups.

Let's not forget, in the opener, he had 6 catches on 7 targets when he got hurt at 8:50 to go in the third. Was on pace for a double digit target game. Every player I post optimistically about tanks so who tf knows. I see some Dionte upside here.

Just my humble opinion based on player evaluation, situation, and (very)small sample of the old proverbial eye test....but Jeudy is a definite hold, if at all humanly possible.

He has dynamic ability with the weekly upside that we as FF players look for. I believe that he and Kadarius Toney, if truly healthy down the stretch, could be on many championship teams.

Jerry Jeudy (ankle) has already been medically cleared and is fully expected to return for Week 8 against Washington.

The word comes via coach Vic Fangio. The Broncos, understandably, did not "believe it was fair to put him out without any practice" against the Browns on Thursday. We already knew that Jeudy got in a "solid pre-game workout." Barring a setback he will be locked and loaded against the Football Team after previously not playing since Week 1. With Tim Patrick already fading a bit opposite Courtland Sutton, Jeudy will have immediate WR2 appeal, though he might be best served by a week of WR3 "wait and see" in fantasy.

Because of posts like these, "Let's not forget, in the opener, he had 6 catches on 7 targets when he got hurt at 8:50 to go in the third," and "Jeudy is a definite hold, if at all humanly possible."

My mindset was if at all humanly possible to hold Jeudy helped my decision while thinking 6 catches on 7 targets with lots of time left. Then all the positive news came out that he went through pre-game warmups in week 7 and looks primed to play in week 8. I am glad I kept him and can make this team work this week and into next. I had him queued up to drop and add another player and just couldn't do it.

Having Jeudy allows for options, bye weeks, more possible injuries, upside, and enthusiasm to watch him play. Here are my five WR's (almost just 4) on this team in random order: T Hill, J Waddle, M Williams, C Claypool, and J Jeudy. My instincts tell me T Hill (WR 1) and M Williams (WR 2), allowing for matchups and trends in the other 3 to play or most likely Flex. Would love to Flex Jeudy if he looks good watching week 8. Waddle is in the line up this week. And he looked great last week in London hooking up with Tua Time, who also shall be interesting to watch after all the Deshaun Watson trade news.

Jeudy owners get psyched! He's a stud! I gotta feeling he's gonna be in many line ups moving forward for the ROS.

I expect a lot of ups and downs with Jeudy the rest of the way. A lot of mouths to feed and not exactly a high-powered offense.

Doesn’t help redrafters this year, but next year could really be Jeudy’s chance to shine with a new QB and particularly if Sutton gets signed elsewhere as an UFA.

And that is also a very true possibility. The ebbs and flows of how productive DEN offense becomes. Some offenses can support the cast of offensive players like say, ARI and LA and TB and BUF - teams with relativity high scoring offenses. Usually the top 2 WR's on most teams are relevant players, some support three. I see Jeudy moving into WR 1 A & B with Sutton moving forward. We can only watch and see if he pans out this year as the team sits as it is. Is Jeudy a better wideout then Sutton?

Just joined the Jeudy train. Picked him up because Lockett underperforming. Needed guys who could potentially be huge at the end of the year and replace my worst starter. Sitting behind Jefferson, kupp, aj brown, Lockett, and Robinson so was able to make a patience play. Hoping he can fill in for a couple byes as well.

Excitedly optimistic.
