WR Michael Pittman, IND (1 Viewer)

Don't even bother reporting this, I already have.

I told them about your stance on obesity and COVID and asked if they wanted information like this on the board.

This is a joke. People can listen to you or not. There's links, video, everything.

You have no clue what you're talking about, and you're wildly misrepresenting Harmon.
You okay GB?

Here is another top source for player grades, just to compare to harmon's stuff...

Pittman graded out as the 96th WR on PFF...below is the link, but you may have to have a subscription(which I do).

If this were about Pittman, that would be fine. This isn't about that -- if you hadn't already screwed up a source and given the completely opposite conclusion of what that source was saying, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

good night

No, Insein said he hoped to get WR2 upside at WR4 prices and you pooh-poohed it. You told him he didn't have good advanced metrics.

He absolutely does. They're top five for rookies. Players get better.

I don't even think he's a lock for WR3, but when the headline blares "YOU NEED TO DRAFT MICHAEL PITTMAN" from the source you're citing as calling him average, you better be able to back it up.
I don't even remember this happening?

🤣🤣🤣

I literally was making an innocuous comment in place of :blackdot:  since I drafted Pittman.

You're a trip RA.

I think it was obvious he wasn’t special last year or he would be going much higher. He was also dealing with a significant injury and was a rookie. I think he’s a really nice bet this year given health, the growth that happens from Y1 to Y2 and the need the offense has for an alpha WR.

Took him in the 7th round of a 16 team league last night and semi-instantly regretted it.  He was the end of a run, at the end of the day pick 112 isn't a huge deal but I let Callaway going hoping he'd come back to me, and I'd much rather believe in him.   I actually do like Pittman the player, I just have zero faith in Wentz.  If he had rivers, I expect he might be top 100

I thought he looked good at times last year and had a successful rookie season.  He ripped off several good runs after the catch,  I believe he's ready to take it up a notch in 2021 and definitely could outproduce his ADP.

I'm not sure how Matt is defining breakout, but as I stated earlier in this thread I think he has WR2 upside if he gets the volume.  I don't see him as a WR1 due to reasons previously stated.  He lacks some of the elite metrics you'd like to see.
I think we’re sleeping a bit on Parris Campbell. As unlikely as it seems, if he can stay healthy, I think he’s better suited for the WR1 role.

Yeah he was pretty good at times but clearly never flashed like Jefferson, Claypool, Lamb, etc.

That's the story the advanced metrics and eye test tell.  Indy has some good WRs, I'm just not sure they have exceptional WRs.

Hopefully we get peak Wentz and we'll see exactly what Campbell and Pittman have to offer.

To reiterate, I do think Pittman can be decent value as he slides into the later rounds...but I wouldn't want to count on him as my WR3.

Not every progression for a rookie WR has to be a star out of the gate.  I think Pittman looked good enough and hopefully he takes the next step.  We shall see.  The opportunity is there providing the Colts have decent QB play.

Yeah, I’m pro Pittman. Just saying I don’t think it’s clear one way or another which is why he’s so affordable right now.

True, you definitely want to see a second year leap...like what many are expecting for Lamb and Jeudy.

Another argument for Pittman is that last year wasn't a traditional rookie season, these kids were learning on the fly last year with no OTAs and limited preseason etc.   I think this is one of the better arguments for the Sophomore WRs...I've been a big proponent of Jeudy(Lamb's ADP already high)

Stop bumping this thread!

Oh wait, I did it again!  Ouch!

Oh, what sad times are these when passing ruffians can say "Ni" at will to old ladies. There is a pestilence upon this land! nothing is sacred.

baked into the ADP, but I hear ya

I do trust Reich
I like Reich also, but he sure made some bone headed decisions last year with time management and 4th down decisions.  I hope that is curtailed this year.

For those talking about dropping him.  You are talking about redraft correct? I couldn't fathom someone dropping Pittman in Dynasty right now.

Contemplating dropping him for RB help (Mitchell and Murray).

Redraft only. But he is very frustrating to own after having him last year too. I wish I drafted before the T.Y. injury, I probably wouldnt have drafted him.

He showed some promise last year, especially with yards after the catch.  I don't understand some dynasty players why they are so easily discouraged.  I don't see a justification for it right now with Pittman.  Not every WR is going to be great so soon.

So everyone dumping this guy already?

Was hoping I had a double digit round #1 WR here in redraft. Didn't seem so in week one. Now he's banged up and facing the LAR secondary. Not good.

Tempted to drop him and attend to other needs since after facing LAR, I doubt anyone will touch him with a 10 foot pole next waiver period. Probably can pick him up for free late next week in FA after leaguemates chase the latest shiny pebble.

MICHAEL PITTMAN WR, INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Colts "are confident" that Michael Pittman (ankle) and Paris Campbell (abdomen) will play in Week 2 against the Rams.

Schefter added that both players still need to make it through warmups before getting the final go-ahead. Pittman and Campbell were both late additions to the injury report, only appearing on it on Friday. If either player sees a limited role in Week 2, Zach Pascal would likely be the primary beneficiary. Expect the Colts to lean on Jonathan Taylor and their ground game as long as they have a banged-up receiving room.

Well, keeping him now. P. Campbell inactive. Maybe he can establish himself this week and then take advantage of the TN matchup next week.

Perhaps, but I don't think it is happening this week for sure.  Maybe he will surprise all of us.

Helps that Campbell is out, but nice to see Pittman showing some signs of life.

On my bench.

On my bench as well but that’s ok.   Good to see that he has the potential to be a starting WR for FF as the season progresses.

Great game last week, but with the QB issue this week, what are folks doing here?
Also benching him based on concern about Wentz being out. Hope I'm wrong and goes off with the backups, as that will portend well for the future.
