Seems you’re in a pretty precarious pickle.I’ve got Pittman, Patrick or Patterson. Pick your Poison. Also Puck my life.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Carson Wentz (questionable, ankle) is expected to start in Week 3 against the Titans. He's looking ugly with the specter of Eason or Hundley starting, but maybe lightning will strike in a bottle and either QB will try to feed him.

Wentz "moved around well" at Friday's practice and is on track to start barring a setback.
Thanks. Just wondering how much Wentz will be throwing downfield if his mobility is limited, focusing more on the run game and dump offs to HInes.NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Carson Wentz (questionable, ankle) is expected to start in Week 3 against the Titans. He's looking ugly with the specter of Eason or Hundley starting, but maybe lightning will strike in a bottle and either QB will try to feed him.

good point…but I think I’m gonna roll Pittman out there.Thanks. Just wondering how much Wentz will be throwing downfield if his mobility is limited, focusing more on the run game and dump offs to HInes.
Michael Pittman caught 6-of-12 targets for 68 yards in Indianapolis' Week 3 loss to Tennessee.
The Colts had schemed up a post route for Pittman in the end zone on their second red zone possession, but Carson Wentz airmailed the throw. With a game-high 12 targets, Pittman looks to have settled into heavy WR3 consideration ahead of a Colts matchup with the Dolphins in Week 3. The opportunity continues to be large in T.Y. Hilton's absence, and one good throw from Wentz would have made this day a lot happier for those Pittman shares.
Michael Pittman caught 6-of-7 targets for 89 yards and one touchdown in the Colts' Week 5 loss to the Ravens.
Pittman once again paced the team in targets and catches, though he was out-gained 116-89 by Jonathan Taylor in large part due to Taylor's 76-yard catch-and-run score on a screen in the first quarter. Pittman's 42-yard touchdown grab was a grown-man catch where Pittman simply took the ball off DB Anthony Averett's helmet and left him in the dust. It was Pittman's first score of the season after seeing 36 targets across the first four weeks. Pittman is seeing volume and air yards and should be treated as an every-week WR2/3 ahead of a cake Week 6 date with the Texans.

Solid WR2 that keeps getting ranked as a WR3 or Flex. Buy low opportunity might still exist.
His TD catch looked great, he needs more of these go and get it type plays sent his way.
Lockett and Woods sure. I wouldn't over Allen. That's just me.Can I start Pittman over Keenan Allen, Tyler Lockett or Robert Woods??
Not sure Hilton won’t be a threat, but hoping TY affects Pascal and/or Campbell more so than Pittman.I don't see Hilton as a threat to Pittman's targets. Carson has no chemistry with Hilton yet and Pittman has been catching almost anything thrown to him. Wentz will go to the guy that's catching the ball for him right now.
Wentz sailed two passes over his head in the endzone so far this season. Totally open on both. I would like to think he gets there a few more times.Good time to buy Pittman IMO. Maybe whoever has him in redraft will be a little worried about Hilton and is willing to sell. He also hasn't been a real sexy name, only 1 TD but all signs point to Pittmania running wild ROS.
Yeah that is the conundrum. The targets and all the advanced stuff says he should have more TDs. However, Wentz is an inaccurate QB who seems to have peaked a few years ago.Wentz sailed two passes over his head in the endzone so far this season. Totally open on both. I thought he looked considerably better on MNF and after another week of healing up. But yeah.Yeah that is the conundrum. The targets and all the advanced stuff says he should have more TDs. However, Wentz is an inaccurate QB who seems to have peaked a few years ago.
I was hoping it would take a few weeks for Hilton to get acclimated, and even if he did, he’d be washed. Turns out he’s got some juice left.I was afraid of Hilton's return and the possible emergence of Paris Campbell both being factors that could eat into Pittman's floor and ceiling. Just one game and it wasn't a great script but I am definitely taking notice. My gut said bench him in a couple spots and I didn't.
Yeah I just don't know how many more pivots I'm going to find.Hilton ruled out...yay!
But it appears SF area is getting hit with rain and wind of biblical proportions. Based on what I'm seeing in local SF weather forecasts, this looks pretty damn bad. A "river of moisture" is just pouring into the bay area now thru Monday. Sustained winds 20-25 mph with gusts 50+.
Was all ready to pull the trigger on Pittman in a bounce back game, but this looks terrible. Only option is to pivot to T. Boyd (gulp).

Like get out of jail free cards, I'm out of pivots unless I could conjure up an emergency trade in one my leagues. I did pivot off of Pittman on DraftKings though. He would be definitely be a contrarian play with news of the weather.Yeah I just don't know how many more pivots I'm going to find.
Michael Pittman caught all four of his targets for 105 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' Week 7 win over the 49ers.
Pittman had a 57-yard catch that set up the Colts’ first scoring drive. He had the play of the night on his touchdown, a 28-yard fade over 49ers CB Dre Kirkpatrick. Pittman also drew a DPI in end-zone and another one that gained 35 yards and placed the Colts inside the five-yard line. The four targets were second behind Zach Pascal (6), but Pittman has looked like a legit No. 1 receiver this year with T.Y. Hilton sidelined. Pittman will be in the WR2 mix if Hilton remains out for the Colts' Week 8 matchup with Tennessee.

I agree. They don't currently have any other pass catchers that are worth a damn except Mo-Allie Cox.hamsterdam said:He’s been making things happen and the Colts need to feed this dude.
I like what I see when I see Pittman, Jr. performing. At 6'4" he has a dominant command with strong hands. I'm in. He's my WR #3 with WR #1 or 2 upside. He also has a low floor as we've seen as well. Wentz playing much better. I like Frank Reich as a head coach too. Taylor and committee help balance things out. The WR 2, 3, 4 or TE's are the next ingredients to compliment Pittman, Jr. Is he ready to accept his role (as the teams #1 WR) and flourish no matter what? He's definitely a hold and in my lineup. I dangled a trade for him before to no avail and each time I see him play well I go back to "he's a stud WR." And may only get much better if his head is open to it. I'm sure he's being coached well like Wentz is.
Agreed, although I expect that Hilton will continue to siphon off some of those targets. TY is long in the tooth, but has enough left/credibility to make Wentz look for him on occasion. But honestly, he needs more passes thrown his way, or it becomes a boom/bust trend. There's no way he shouldn't be dominating guys like Pascal for Indy's target share.
I actually think having TY play benefits Pittman in the long run. Defenses have to plan for the speedster.Agreed, although I expect that Hilton will continue to siphon off some of those targets. TY is long in the tooth, but has enough left/credibility to make Wentz look for him on occasion.
