WR Parker Washington, JAX (2 Viewers)

I wish he was more than he is. I don't see a difference maker, but he can give you that double digits at the position when you're in need. Definitely someone to have right now given the injuries this year.

He had few decent games last year as a sophomore.

I doubt a 3rd year breakout is coming, but he could put up very respectable #s the next 5 weeks until Hunter returns.

And ya never know what's going on with Thomas's shoulder/wrist or whatever is wrong with him. He hasn't been the same this year...Dami Brown is a JAG.

Even if nothing wrong with BT and he plays, He'll be the vocal point of def n have top coverage on him.

Plus they involved him in the running game a couple times this year.

Definitely worth a roster spot if you have one. 6-75-1 week is coming this week
the dash 1 is the hardest to predict.

By t was close. I needed his points . He can produce as well as Hunter when ya give him a bunch of targets.
He's basically the Jags WR1 right now.

In dynasty I have stuck with him for 2 years, it is paying off. He is a good player. Nothing special but can be a PPR guy. I was so happy to see his big recent week.

I assume since JAX WRs are dropping like flies, Parker will be the main focus of opposing defenses. That can have two different outcomes: 1) Since coaches are ignorant, they will say "we trust in the system" and won't adjust to take Parker out of the game and he'll be a PPR beast. OR... 2) Defenses DO adjust and focus on him and he flames out until BTJ takes over...eventually? I've always believed in Parker's athletic ability. He reminds me of a Pacheco if Pacheco were a WR...that's how Parker runs. Parker wants to hit people. And that may be a good or bad thing.

Even with Meyers going to the Jags, Washington still keeps value imo.
Meyers will take a few weeks to get on same page as TL.. If he couldn't get it on same page as Geno. I doubt he does with TL .
Trevor already trust Parker as a chain mover. They have good chemistry..
I have a feeling Thomas is gonna be hurting all season. Hunter still out a few more games
Meyers seems to have lost a step, seems much slower than he was 2-3 years ago.
Seems like he's just playing to play, since he's already been paid..slacking a bit.head not in the game like it was 5-6 years ago.

Texans lost 20-19 vs the Bucs in the home opener, they shutout the Titans 26-0 in their next game at home, as you would expect no WR cracked 50 yds

They played San Fran at home, won 26-15, not a single Niners' WR totaled over 45 yards
They played Denver and lost 18-15, again not a single WR had over 30 total yards, RJ Harvey had the most receiving yards as a RB
Mike Evans during week 1 for the Bucs had 56 yards, that was the most all season at home the Texans have surrendered

Projection 3-35 if you're lucky 🎯
I might be a bit harsh here but the numbers fade to something like this
And I am interested in Washington with nobody else to throw to besides Jakobi, I just don't see the Texans allowing for much

Further trouble this week is, if its Mills, it won't exactly be a high volume offensive game to force Jax to play with pace on the other side of the ball.

That said, I'm starting him many places as I have no choice. Shake the world P Wash!

Fantastic points from both of you. Also keep in mind last week…in the comeback and in OT, Jags leaned on the run, even as Etienne was averaging 3 yds/carry. Not sure they trusted the QB to win( or not to lose) the game for them. And that was the Raiders, not the Texans, defense

I graduated from the @Anarchy99 school of bring your stats with you to back your opinion
I want to believe, so does Anarchy usually, but it's hard to not notice the potential iceberg on the horizon
Sometimes we sail right past it and avoid it but the reality is it's there

I'm glad Jags got Meyers to keep the top corner on him and not Parker.
Thomas will be out this week and who knows how long his injuries linger.

Washington should be good for 7-8 targets every week in the slot as long as Hunter n Thomas are out.

To counter MOPs Debby Downer pants...their last game in 2024...Parker had 6 receptions for 103 yds. So there's SOME hope. When they played earlier this year, it was as MOP said...not good for any Jags pass catchers.

So crazy with all they invested in at WR with draft picks and trades and Parker Washington is going to finisj the year as the Jags WR1 for fantasy

He reminds me of Antonio Brown his first few years. I doubt he has that upside, but he's a dawg.
That is quite the statement!

I've been thinking it all week and then he goes and returns a punt for a TD. Brown started off returning punts and fighting Emanuel Sanders for playing time. He didn't come out the gate as the Uber stud we think of him as.
