Rich for sure. Had 2-1sts in my pocket and a firm believer in Rice as a talent in the KC offense. I usually will overpay for a guy I believe in and have many Championships to show for it. (heartaches as well ) Time will tell here over next 10 weeks

I actually have Rice and Nabers in the dynasty league I'm in that's a ten-team league. No way do I give Nabers and a first for Rice. I don't think I give Nabers for Rice if I'm acquiring Rice. I know we think Rice is fantasy gold, but he's not, by almost all accounts, a complete receiver. Remove Reid and/or Mahomes and you've got issues.

That said, that’s an overpay by a 1st IMO. And i only believe the 1:1 is in the ballpark of fair because Nabers has a blown out knee.

Yeah, if we played to win trades then it might not be such a good deal but considering you'd likely not be a championship contender without the deal, what the heck? I guess go for it.

If that was your initial offer then it was a bad one. If thats what you ended up having to pay because thats what it took to get Rice, then I'm fine with it. I probably wouldn't do it tho.

To your point, ppl tend to be over confident with ACLs. It's not out of the question you're waiting another season to get Nabers back at full health.

I'd probably rank Rice around WR10 this week. Even if he doesn't see a full-time role, I think they'll absolutely make a point of getting him the ball when he is out there, and the Raiders have nobody to stop him. I think there is honestly like a 90% chance he gets a TD, or at least multiple endzone targets.

I started him in all leagues I had him didn't blink twice and read/heard a ton all week. We all know to never sit a #1 if never injured.

Have been loading up on him at R8 / R9 in moderately deep bench leagues.

Rice has averaged ~20 FP/G since taking on a full startjng role. Could damn well finish as a top 5 WR in the final 2/3 of the season.
