WR Tee Higgins, CIN (1 Viewer)

Seems like a lil bit of a gamble, but on pure talent he's in my lineup again in two leagues over the likes of Pickens, Pierce, Dillon, R Moore, G Wilson.

I'm high on a healthy Higgins!

i figure if he was hurt they would sit him to rest. yes people are sayng possible decoy but then why even put him out there

Man......I so want to put him in, but feel like this would be a trap start this week.....1 practice, GTD and reaggravated it last week.

I gotta see a full game healthy first.....I'm rolling with R.Stevenson this week in the flex...but I'm most likely to waffle back and forth over the next hour..

Nothing to do with Higgins, but last time Burrow played in the Superdome he put up 460 yards and 5 tds, Chase put up 9/221/2, and Jefferson put up 9/105.

Saints have a few injuries on defense so it could be a feast day for the Bengals offense. I am sure Joey B wants to show off for his LSU fans in attendance. If Higgins is healthy he is going to ball out.

If I had those options he would absolutely not be in my line up, but not only do I have worse options, I would need to make a roster move to grab someone

Debating on sitting him, can't afford a goose egg.

I have a good matchup with Rondale Moore working against the rookie Coby Bryant, he's giving up plays to the slot. All other Wr's on my team are broken!

I’m struggling. In 2 leagues I don’t have a choice.

In my main redraft IDP I have Pollard or AJ Dillon. Pollard is very tempting even though it’s a tough matchup.

But then I hate the idea of leaving a big game on my bench.

This is vexing me. I’m quite vexed.
:wall:

Starting with limited confidence, but given I need to blow up part of the team to get anything better I'll gamble, 1 for 3 if it is a TD will be fine in my spot

Its Brandon Aiyuk or Tee Higgins. I heard some folks saying Tee Higgins over Gabe Davis that seems dumb I think Gabe is a great pivot.

I got stupidly excited over this blurb I found, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab9u1DmeZ3c Tee Higgins part is at 2:40, but it doesn't really mean much at the EOD. However, I need to blame someone and I chose this poor reporter for why I decided to start Higgins
I hope you chose Aiyuk.

Nah, but at least I can blame that reporter :)

Also, I saw he was in during the Mixon TD. He was out wide doing a pretty route and threw up a TD sign when Mixon broke the plane. I think the ankle is better or at least not aggravated.

But he's still going to get some in this game, right? Right??

Burrow has 23 passes already halfway through the 2nd quarter.

Tee Higgins caught 6-of-10 targets for 47 yards in Cincinnati's Week 6 win over the Saints.

Higgins was managed quite a bit, as he wasn't on the field for their first offensive series of the game. Fantasy managers probably have the negative game script to thank for how often he was on the field, because he could have been even more limited than this. Still, he escaped the game without re-aggravating the injury, and even though he didn't look to be playing at 100% -- Higgins told reporters afterwards he was at about 85% -- he provided some production if you had to start him. Hopefully he'll be closer to full health for Week 7 against the Falcons.

Tee Higgins (ankle) is not listed on Cincinnati's final Week 7 injury report.

He can be fired up safely as a borderline WR1/WR2 against the Falcons. Higgins said he was playing at 85% in Week 6 after the game, but it appears the ankle has finally returned to full health after two weeks of him being a question mark for fantasy football purposes.

Tee Higgins caught 5-of-7 targets for 93 yards in the Bengals' Week 7 win over the Falcons.

5/93 is a solid day at the office, but Higgins trailed Ja'Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd in catches, yards and targets. Chase scored two ridiculous touchdowns while Boyd took advantage of a coverage bust to house a 60-yarder as he totaled a career-high 155 yards. Frustrating for Higgins managers, but he's caught at least five balls every game since Week 1, finishing below 70 yards just one time in the process. The Browns are an A+ matchup for Week 8.

Frustrating to see the scoreboard in the game and the scoreboard for Higgins. 4th in targets - oof.

Hopefully it’s him working back from the ankle & he tends back up. :oldunsure:

just wondering, and it's just that...now higgins faces the top CB, which he never does...this doesn't always help the #2 guy....same for tyler boyd..no more #3 corners or safety's...does he move outside?

No telling who benefits....but higgins is not chase and never will be...

That may very well be true and makes sense, just saying...expectations need to be tempered a bit, he is a great #2, and maybe a good #1, double teams are coming, but indeed so are the high leverage targets

Tee Higgins caught 7-of-8 targets for 60 yards in the Bengals' Week 9 win over the Panthers.

Higgins started the game commanding multiple first-read targets on the Bengals' first three drives, two of which went for 71 yards or more for the team's first two rushing scores of the game. The Bengals would go on to score on their next two possessions, relieving any need to pepper Higgins for the rest of the game as the team trotted into half time with a commanding 35-0 lead. Higgins continues his run of WR2/3 production in the absence of Ja'Marr Chase, who could return as soon as Week 11 after the Bengals' Week 10 bye. Consider Higgins a locked-in WR3 with weekly WR2 upside as the team prepares for a road showdown with division rivals Pittsburgh Steelers after their bye.

Tee Higgins (hamstring) was limited in Thursday's practice.

It's a new injury designation for Higgins, and a concerning one given how often injuries like this simply end practices and lead to "limited" statuses that turn into DNPs. It's a little too early to say that this is going to keep Higgins out this week, but it's certainly a possible outcome. Friday's practice status will be enormous. Higgins was slated to be a low-end WR1 against the Browns on Sunday.
