WR Tee Higgins, CIN (3 Viewers)

Paul Dehner Jr.
Tee Higgins leaving little doubt he will return to the high level he was playing in camp when he makes his expected season debut on MNF:

“I’m back. I’m 100 percent.”
if he really is 100%, then I think this was a contract ploy
I don't think so. He tweaked something and it set him back. These things happen.

I don't doubt he wanted a long term contract but if he was playing games it would have been a lot longer than 2....

Bad part of Tee is I only expect him to play for a half, Cincy should have this game in hand and are they gonna give him a full load out of the gate

Starters should be out for Cincy by 4th at the latest

Now, that may mean they did their damage but I feel like this is Chase's "feed me" game

While I don't totally disagree with you, I will say a team that's 0-2, if possible, probably wants to put the pedal down for 4 quarters. Especially after last weeks heartbreaker against Chiefs. I can see Higgins being on a snap count, but I wouldn't he surprised seeing Burrow playing deep into the 4th even up 2 scores. Imo

I'm playing Tyler Johnson LAR WR over Higgins because I have no back up option for Higgins since he plays Monday night.

I own him several teams and he'll be in a lot of lineups, though not sure about all, as there is arguably not a scarier player in the league to trust playing a full game coming off an injury. Or not coming off an injury for that matter, it's just a much bigger risk now. I said in some other thread yesterday this guy is the king of the early exit and saying that I'm not entirely without fear of a pregame workout situation where he does not feel well.

Still tough to sit. Multiple Bengals beat writers I follow said he's never looked better then he did in camp. Listened to Bengals 3 man beat writer podcast the day or two before he hurt his hammy and one of them predicted a 1,300 yard season for him. I just remember that because I had just drafted him the night before in a big draft and that prediction gave me the good feeling, and then like the next day he was hurt. The Tee experience.

Dynami Brown? I'd def start Tee over Johnson unless you're a HEAVY favorite
if you're suggesting brown, thanks! He's rostered, league's too big and deep for any relevant free agents

I can't trust that Higgins will play since it's a Monday game. I've been burned too many times on late games. You made me think tho and I'll play E.Elliot at flex instead of Johnson.

I'm already down AJ Brown, Kupp, and Njoku

Seems like he’s 100% going to play

Follow your gut, man. Rams will probably have to pass a lot. I hope you're able to told you so on Tee, but if I had him, he'd be in my lineup (just proposed a trade for him actually).

Not sure the Rams will have to pass that much, SF down a lot of pieces on offense.

Started him in one league and need 21 ppr points out of him, Daniels and whoever that Jax TE is. Site likes my chances but I'd put it at 50/50.

Not sure how it was a ploy - he’s playing under the tag, and the Bengals have stated there’s no contract for him.

And they drafted his replacements, so…

His best and only “contract ploy” is to go ball out, stay healthy and prove to his next team he’s worth a big contract.

Was good to see him active, production stunk, Iosivas looked better then he ever has but Tee had a shot for more his and his Qb's health have always been biggest factor with him so if he if that goes ok no reason to think his production won't follow.

Is it crazy to think if the Bengals don't start winning and things look bleak near the trade deadline he'd be made available?

This is fantasy for ya, inches away from 1 TD and nearly had another but the ball was just thrown out of bounds.

The clear PI on the 2pt conversion was somehow missed by every official.

There should be better days ahead but there will be times where he's 4th in targets for the game. I think he is a very good receiver but has trouble staying healthy. It also seems that Iosivas and Gesicki get their fare share of targets. If CIN keeps sucking and playing from behind it won't be an issue but if they are somehow playing ahead and don't throw it as much it could be tough sledding.

If you can somehow get him in dynasty and play for next year when he moves on I think that might be the play. Deep leagues can probably flex him in good match-ups but will be up and down I think. Nothing against his abilities, but the consistent target share might not be there week to week.

Iosivas could be the #2 next year. He looks good in PPR leagues as he only has 85 yards total in 3 games. He's propped up on the TDs. But he could push for more reps and targets leading into next year.

Iosovas has certainly not looked better than Tee Higgins ever has. Not even close.

You got that all twisted and really should have been understood.
