Definitely a blown pick, but the NFL landscape is littered with highly drafted WRs who absolutely busted. Kevin White of the Bears is just one other example.

It's a tough position for even the best NFL scouts to gauge after watching guys dominate on tape in college against weaker opponents - the precision required at the position often can't translate to the big stage.

Never looked like a 1st round prospect in my opinion. Neither did Dotson.

The #Titans actually have not released Treylon Burks. The team hasn't spoken to him about his release as of now. It may eventually lead to him being released but according to the team, Burks hasn't been released or told he will be.

As good as it gets sources reported he was waived like the NFLs twitter which is probably reading a transaction wire.

As I understand it-
He was waived and not claimed.
(Probably per NFL PA deal)
He reverted to Titans injured player list and has been utilizing their doc.

It is unclear if he can return. The rules are clear about an injured player would go on injured reserve and have to be designated to return.

He didn't go on IR. He was just sorta in no man's land.

Radio hosts compared this to a retired player wanting to return to play and wondered if there's a Favre loophole left open.

I swear a Texans or Jags or Colts fan did this just to bring him up during what may be our only happy week this year. There's such a a rain on parade feel to this. Absolutely no one was talking of him

For as big as he is, he's cupcake soft. Not surprised he wasn't signed...regardless of draft capital. Titans completely whiffed on him.

I think that is why he was so mad. The GM pulled one over him, going against what he had recommended.

Ian has him having a tryout with the Broncos next week

He always looks good in practice so I'd sure bet on him having a good workout and some team putting him on their PS.

They'll have to create pressure and stress in practice, maybe with old school methods, to bring out issues.
