There is some stuff that drives me nuts about this show (Liz Clarke being #1) but I know I love it because of how pissed I get when he stays home and doesn't do a show because DC got 3 inches of snow.In the same vein as Stuff you should know, history you might have missed is very good.Stuff you should know

Probably a good idea to figure out what podcasts Mohr listens to so you can hear his schtick first hand.Binky The Doormat said:You really need some comedy podcasts then if he is the best thing you have on your podcasts:I'm 25 years his junior, and thnk he is the best thing I listen to by miles.Kornheiser is pretty awful unless you like angry old man rants.

About 15 minutes long, they come out rarely (only about 15 episodes so far), and they cover interesting stories around crime - not usually the crime itself, but how morticians are weird or how some guy selling a fake cancer cure is causing venus flytrap poaching. What is Criminal? My current rotation:

If you guys like JR check out Duncan Trussels podcast. It's like all the crazy JR ones.hello freaksJoe Rogan Experience is easily my favorite.
i think that he's saying the Mohr rips other people off. I think Mohr has been accused of stealing other people's bits in the past, most notably during his SNL tenure.:whoosh: what podcasts Mohr listens to?Probably a good idea to figure out what podcasts Mohr listens to so you can hear his schtick first hand.Binky The Doormat said:You really need some comedy podcasts then if he is the best thing you have on your podcasts:I'm 25 years his junior, and thnk he is the best thing I listen to by miles.Kornheiser is pretty awful unless you like angry old man rants.

Podcast where every story is connected to a crime, though not necessarily about the crime. For example they had an episode about how a family handled the media frenzy when 2 family members were gunned down in a mass shooting. Or how a guy's life got destroyed when he was wrongly arrested for being part of a child porn ring. What is Criminal? My current rotation:

I've been starting to listen to this one. Agreed; he's no Duncan. But still a good listen for anyone who enjoyed History of Rome.History of Byzantium is good. The author has no sense of humor, but he's got a good delivery and is doing a good job of continuing the History of Rome storyline.
The new lady is fine, but not an improvement.I think Adam Corolla has gone way down hill since Allison left. They just don't have the energy and connection they had before.
Also seems like his other projects are really tying him up.I think Adam Corolla has gone way down hill since Allison left. They just don't have the energy and connection they had before.
I've started the History of England, which I would review similarly - it's pretty dry (esp at first) but the guy adds a Duncan-esque level of sarcasm as it goes on. Frankly my biggest issue is understanding the guy's accent sometimes.I've been starting to listen to this one. Agreed; he's no Duncan. Oh - now I got it. Talk about a grudge - that was over 10 years ago and he admitted it and apologized. He seems to be pretty well liked across the comedy community these days.i think that he's saying the Mohr rips other people off. I'll have to check out History of England. On a similar level, I've been listening to some of the "British History Podcast" too (about 30 episodes in). A bit hard to get into, maybe because there is a limited historical record in the time period he is starting at (he begins around the time of the Roman invasions), and a lot of overlap with Duncan in that period. The Boudica episodes were pretty interesting though. The podcaster lives in America, so no accent issue with him.I've started the History of England, which I would review similarly - it's pretty dry (esp at first) but the guy adds a Duncan-esque level of sarcasm as it goes on. I tried that one before The History of England. It is well-reviewed (better than HoE IIRC) but that guy gave off a huge pompous hipster vibe which I just couldn't handle personally.I'll have to check out History of England. Just judging from your av, you may like this short one from Radiolab a few weeks ago: The Real Don QuixoteI'll have to check out History of England. my thought as well. The quality of the show over the last month seems to be off moreso cuz of his promotional schedule. I still don't know if I like Gina any better or worse than Allison, but she doesn't seem to offer much more than Allison (which can be a good thing or bad thing). The new lady is fine, but not an improvement.I think Adam Corolla has gone way down hill since Allison left.
