Why the hell wouldn't it at least throw the "reason for cancelling" thing at me? Nope, just straight up cancelled. I've never tried to finagle or had any issues with them.

I also got the $10 off per month for 6 months as well, and I didn't have to click any cancel buttons either. It was just there when I clicked "Manage" like others have said. Thanks @jamny!

Just tried it and nothing came up. I guess I am not a lucky one.

Wife just got on the live chat with YTTV and got a $5/month discount for 12 months. Same total off as the $10 for 6 months....so maybe luck is turning.

PS - @belljr and @Drunken knight what's up with liking my post for being unlucky. I may start to take offense to that...haha

I got a discount without asking. I get my YTTV subscription through my Fiber internet provider and the discount just showed up on my monthly invoice. Hooray.

Last year, I got $100 off Sunday Ticket with Red Zone, cost me $289. It said it would auto-renew at $389, so I canceled auto renew in hopes that I could get another discount. Instead, they raised the price to $420 and I haven't seen any discounts!

(I did get the $10 off thing, so I have that going for me, which is nice.)

You wanted to cancel and it easily let you and now you’re mad it canceled?

Wrong. I just wanted this discount people are getting and made certain to go through the exact same steps to do so, which entailed one last screen you get to which asks "reason for cancelling". The key part of this being they then try and keep you as a subscriber with the offer of a discount.

So the same steps did not work for me. And clearly others as well.

Weird that you would want to try and twist it, by saying "you wanted to cancel" (false). Happy Father's Day.

Gawd dam it. I tried and got to the tipping point. Sat and wondered if I should go through with one more bluff. Googled for answers, most of which were from 6 months ago. Googled some more.

Finally said **** it and bluffed one last time because the "reason" screen never did come up and I figured it must be coming.

I just got cancelled. Son of a *****.

What's the issue? Can't you just sign back up quickly?
