I think Flynn's friend Louis is up to something.

I always thought that receptionist at Beneke's was up to no good. Did you see the way she was looking at Skyler's stomach? Bad intentions, yo.

Steve Gomez is part of the cartel.

Seriously, I have always thought Gomey is the mole in the DEA office

I'll await Gekko before I decide if this is possible.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever read here. And I'm fully caught up on the Trump thread.

Even the baby's acting in this show was top notch.

They still advertising Low Winter Sun?

Mythbusters

Both were busted. The acid barely did anything and the mercury didn't even explode. Then they created a more powerful acid which dissolved the pig but it was impossible to eat thru the tub. And they exploded 50g with a blast cap and the result was a small explosion nothing like the show

Science, b!tch

As much as I would hate it for the show itself (and there's no way in hell it would happen), the fan uproar from Gomey being a mole would almost make it worth it.

How about, Jr and Louis turn out to be running their own Drug empire.

I think it would be a pretty cool twist for Gomez to be working with a cartel. Imagine Hank finds out his two closest friends in the show have been working against the DEA all along.

I don't think the notion itself is that terrible, but people would absolutely hate it.

There are plenty of legitimate reasons it would be a bad idea for the show itself (doesn't fit, no need, expands the story at the wrong time, etc.), but I think we're now programmed to hate moles. God bless "24", but they destroyed moles forever.

Breaking Bad is supposed to be above that sort of thing.

I don't see it, but I think Gilligan could pull it off if he was so inclined. More so, I'm confident he's just smart enough not to go down that road.

Aside from the general hatred of moles, people would be pissed because BB is so focused right now (as it's always been). We've seen the consequences and destruction coming for so long now, and it's almost here. Throwing the mole wrench in the middle of this would just be a disaster.

In a normal show who tries to throw a twist, a la 24, Gomez would be a perfect mole. This isn't a show like that though. This show is a study in transformational circumstances and what one becomes or what rises to the surface from within when exposed to them. Walt, Hank, and Jesse have all gone through this, and we are still seeing how they develop and where their transformations take them.

I don't buy the "mole" theory. BB doesn't seem to need cheap tricks like this. BB is very open with the viewers as to who and what people are. Sure, there is tons of deceit going on between Walt and the rest of his family, and even between Marie, Skyler, and heck probably even Flynn ( I mean, where is he going EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, and who is this friend he's always "going to see")

But despite the fact that there is deceit everywhere, the viewers are in on everything. I can't think of many situations where they hid who someone was and then revealed it. We saw Walt going bad in every detail. Jesse was always bad. We saw the affair and Skyler's subsequent covering of Walt's actions. We even saw Marie shoplifting.

To throw a mole in the mix, at the end of the show, would be very atypical of this show, and I wouldn't like it.

BTW, what in the heck where the lame-brain execs at AMC doing pitting the final four episodes of the best show in TV history up against the first month of NFL football?

I thought that was strange, too. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am much more likely to watch the football game live and then watch Breaking Bad on DVR when the game is over.

http://www.pressherald.com/news/odd-sale-from-years-ago-links-maine-jeweler-to-hit-tv-show_2013-08-15.html?searchterm=corral

http://www.lovinganvil.com/product/the-breaking-bad-mad-mofo-money-clip

Article from yesterday about a local artist and Breaking Bad show. Cool item, but not sure I would drop two bills for it for myself. Neat little gift for Bryan Cranston though...

Five years ago, Biddeford jewelry maker Coco Corral received an unusual request from a production studio executive in New Mexico.

Could Corral, the executive asked, inscribe onto a sterling silver money clip the scientific symbols for the elements bromine (Br) and barium (Ba)?

"(The executive) said we have this show coming out and we're really excited about it and we want to give (the money clip) to the lead actor," Corral said.

Coco Corral of Biddeford, who created a money clip for "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston five years ago, holds a recreation of the money clip for sale to others. Note the atomic symbols for bromine and barium, graphics the show uses for the "Breaking Bad" title sequence, symbolizing his character was a chemistry teacher before becoming a drug dealer.

The cycle of this thread is interesting, from the anticipation on Sunday to the reaction on Monday to the arguing over mundane side-topics through the rest of the week while we all sit around waiting for Sunday to come again.

ya similiar to the lost thread but more tame

Meh. I only care when my players score. The NFL's over-saturation and ####ification are losing me.

I think Gomez dies. His relationship with Hank is the perfect distance to kill him off and start the #### storm.

I will be shocked if there are not a lot of dead people between now and the end. I think Jesse survives though. I think hank is coming back to protect him.

I guess I'll just have to miss part of the Sunday night football games. The NFL can suck it.

I think my favorite moment from Sunday's episode, and I really liked the episode alot, was when Lydia left the carwash office after being rebuffed by Walt and Skyler asked Walt who she was and....he told her. I can't remember the last time Walt told anyone the truth about anything that mattered. Of course, then he went to visit Jesse.

I'd love to put it all over Lydia. Has this been discussed?

I will watch BB live. I won't miss much with the games. I will miss maybe 24-30% of the game. I will see two of the three hours of the NFL telecast uninterrupted and in addition I will put it on during the BB commercials.

Where do we rank Breaking Bad going forward?

3rd best drama of all time?

Pretty much hit this square in the nuts

I'm going #1. 4.5 stellar seasons. A perfectly crafted story told by a brilliant director. It's kind of ruined TV viewing for me.

If I care about seeing the game, I'll just record it while BB is on. Miss the entire first half and you can be caught to the whole thing by the end of the 3rd quarter.

Watching one NFL game at a time live has become a pretty miserable experience for me (unless it's team I root for, but they're not going to be on primetime very often.

isn't it Flynn? What's everyone's take on Walt walking into his abandoned home looking like a hobo? Was he in county and beat the charges? They let him go because he was terminal? Pretty sure his family dies.

Walt moved his family to a deluxe apartment in the sky and turned his old home into the Heisenberg Community Skate Park. The Albuquerque Zoning Board initially objected until Walt told them that they were "on thin ice".

He's alone, on the run and cancer ridden. Not hard to see why he looks like a :hobo:
