new to me, and enjoying very much - i need more of thatBand of Horses - Everything All The Time
There's another album of theirs that I have probably listened to way more, but if I have to grab one for eternity it's this one. Ben Bridwell is another of those voices that completely captivates me.
Tracklist:
The First Song
Wicked Gil
Our Swords
The Funeral
Part One
The Great Salt Lake
Weed Party
I Go To The Barn Because I Like This
Monsters
St. Augustine
better exemplary latter day genre offering than anything Green Day ever did - this is how ya do it.I changed my mind a couple more times, but I feel really good about this pick. 1995, my pledge year again. This is one of those records I play often, and all the way through. Always improves my mood. I saw them in like 96 at Lala in VT.
Rancid - And Out Come the Wolves
Songs are
Journey to the End of the East Bay and...
Olympia Washington
played chicken with this one too long, lasting 'til the 9th is a gift - debut that changed the 'scape forever, and this is the greatest punk album ever.
Yep, let me cross that off my listI drafted Graceland back in the fifth round, if that's what you are referring to.
I cannot believe I am up at this hour.Time for some VBD, I missed the boat on a lot of great artists over the years as I kept a narrow focus that has widened over the years and now I am playing catch up on a lot of great stuff. Bowie is one of those acts that when I started collecting vinyl again 3 years ago that I got into big time, I try and play a Bowie record every Friday and need that to continue on my Island. There are still plenty of Bowie gems left, but I love this record start to finish.
David Bowie - Aladdin Sane - 1973
- The Jean Genie
- Panic In Detroit
well your "forever eternity" 9th round album doesn't have a yearBand of Horses - Everything All The Time

You must be groggy - typing in lowercase letters.I cannot believe I am up at this hour.
Panic In Detroit is one of my all-time favorites.
We've been called worse. So the Jackass theme made our play list, huh.
would not have been one of my choices from Odelay, but it's pretty good.So the Jackass theme made our play list, huh.
It's an awesome song in its own right. So the Jackass theme made our play list, huh.
They don’t miss me completely. In fact, I like their later stuff more than their hey day stuff. I think I just really hate the Kim Gordon songs. I know, I’m sure that’s heresy.Sonic Youth - Silver Rocket
Come on Tufnel, get with it. You can't even get into this one
Before or after the knock on the door? The Cars - Moving in Stereo
not gonna lie, it moved.
Looks real awesome today! Thanks. I am kind of psycho about my lawn. But we are backed up to a detention basin, and most of that is not my property.Do you live on a golf course or work at Disney's Polynesian resort. Shades of Green? Nice lawn!

They've become one of my favorite bands. Saw them in a small-ish venue a few years ago. The Funeral was definitely the highlight of the show. The funeral is such an amazing song

I played the hell out of that in college. Great choice for the island.Sorry for the delay - the clock has an east coast bias. I actually woke up early for this.
In my mid to late 20s I did a bunch of camping at various lakes across CA for her skiing and drinking and smoking and stuff. This is one of those albums that defined that time and and still reminds me of floating on an inner tube with a beer in hand without a care in the world. Yo Mama selects:
9.19 - Sublime - Sublime (1996)
Great choices for songs, too.ROUND 9 - PUBLIC ENEMY - IT TAKES A NATION OF MILLIONS TO HOLD US BACK
She watch channel zero?!
Don’t believe the hype
I was only 9 or 10 when this came out, so I can’t speak to the impact in the moment, but a few years later I became aware of PE and they were clearly a revolution in a record. Chuck D is is just a straight up national treasure.
@Charlie Steiner is UP!!
